I have visited this place twice .the first time I walked in with a group of about 5 it was fairly early and no one approached us so we sat down at the booth. We waited about 10min when someone told us that the booth was reserved but we could stay for a while and eat. The food was good and we left. The second time was for a friend's birthday party. This was sort of a after party . I was the only man in a group of women and we ordered drinks and food . Not really my speed but if you want to dance on Franklin this is the place to be. But outside it's sometimes rowdy and the double parking is a issue. Recently there was a skirmish I never bothered to look back to see who were the participants but I know the crowd wasn't coming from the canary across the street. 95 south has been here a lot longer than the canary and I wish 95 only the best.

I visited this place on a Friday afternoon. I arrived when it opened at 5 p.m. and didn’t leave until 10 p.m. The atmosphere was great, and the live DJ was exceptional. The drinks and food were also excellent. You can reserve your seating in advance. .

Leigha and the whole staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. They knew the regulars and had a joke with each one, but they took care of everyone as if they were regulars. Definitely plan on returning.

If I could give this place negative stars for the food, I absolutely would. My friend and I went after attending First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum, and it was our first and last time. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with candied yams and mac and cheese as my sides to go, which took over half an hour to arrive, because the kitchen was "running behind." When I got it, the food was absolutely horrid, cold, and stale. The fried chicken was bland and had been cooked in the same oil as seafood, which, if I had an anaphylactic allergy to seafood, I would be dead or hospitalized in the ICU. A huge NO-NO!!! The candied yams were canned and, as such, had a bizarre taste and texture. And, the macaroni and cheese was overly seasoned with garlic powder. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, was fresh or prepared that day. If you decide to eat there and you have an anaphylactic allergy to seafood, make sure you carry your EpiPen. A memorably disastrous first experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. SMH!
