First time dinning here, came in for lunch on a Saturday. We had the crispy short rib hummus and charred eggplant to start which were both phenomenal. We split the chicken kefta kebab with the Greek village salad which was light and flavorful. We planning on hopping around places in the area and didn’t want to have anything too heavy. All of the drinks we had were very refreshing with lots of unique flavors. We finished off with the creme brulee pie which matched rest of our experience at Aba, unbelievable! Our server Colleen and the GM Zach were both were hospitable and attentive. We will definitely be coming back for dinner next time to order more food items.

Incredible food, amazing vibes, and the staff were absolutely wonderful! We had the Crispy Short Rib Hummus and the Shawarma-Spiced Skirt Steak Frites—both were packed with flavor. The grilled chicken was also delicious, and the cocktails are top-tier. Do not leave without getting the Whole Crème brûlée pie it’s spectacular. 10/10 recommend!

Some of the food was great. Our waiter suggested to order around 5-6 plates for two, but I think it was too much food for us. We order the Hummus short rib, the Muhammara, the Chicken thighs , the Shawarma steak frites, and the Falafels. The muhammara, the hummus, as well and the crispy chicken thighs were delicious! But the falafels were over-fry and super dry, and the shawarma steak and frites were ok nothing out of the ordinary. We were celebrating my bday and they brought me a surprise sorbet dessert- which I thought was a very sweet of them! Since we had so much food we didn’t have room for an actual dessert from the menu. The drinks were good as well as their service! I will definitely go back and try their brunch next time.

I’ve visited this spot three times now, once for brunch and twice for dinner. The food has been consistently delicious. The green harissa chicken is a standout, and the chocolate babka French toast is easily the best I’ve had in a long time. The pita and hummus always taste incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes are generous across the board. It’s a popular spot, so expect a bit of a wait as well as delay in service during busy weekends, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The only minor downside was that on one of my visits, the music was played at a volume that made conversation a bit difficult. Overall, best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve been to in Chicago

Beautiful atmosphere the best service. I especially enjoyed the dips and appetizer plates. The meats (kebabs and skirt steak) were not to my liking but I know people who would like them. The whipped feta and roasted garlic hummus are worth a repeat trip.
