I did not like oysters before I had them charred with parm and butter etc. now I'm going to crave them all the time. The gumbo and beans and rice were good but the star for us was as expected lol the oysters. Very reasonable price wise. It felt semi dark which made the atmosphere even more relaxing to me. Can't wait to go back!

Awesome place, great selection of authentic and fresh seafood and cajun cuisine. Got to eat twice here, and each time was great. Everything was great from the raw oysters, to the seafood etouffee with fried crawfish tails on top. Also has some killer fried shrimp, and the hottest cocktail sauce I've ever tried in my life lol. Just add a touch of ketchup to it though and you will be fine. Can't wait to return, keep up the fine work y'all.

Everything was amazing. I love the vibes inside and the service was top notch. The oysters were incredible with an amazing sauce. The estouffe with fried crawfish was amazing. It was so flavorful. The gumbo was amazing and packed with flavor too. You cant go wrong here. It was great. The hurricane was good too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Acme Oyster House while visiting New Orleans for Memorial Day weekend. The restaurant was packed, which was expected, and we waited about 15 minutes in the rain to be seated. Thankfully, the food was absolutely worth the wait. The oysters were fresh, delicious, and topped with crab meat that took them to another level. I also had the fish and butter beans, and both were excellent. The fish was fried just right, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and seasoned perfectly. What really stood out was our waiter. Despite how busy the restaurant was, he was very attentive, friendly, and helped us navigate the menu to find some of the best options. Great food, great service, and a true New Orleans experience. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town. 🦪🐟🍽️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely one of my favorite dining experiences in the French Quarter! Acme Oyster House truly delivers the authentic Southern seafood experience that everyone talks about. Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the corn appetizer, which was flavorful and comforting. The raw oysters were incredibly fresh with no fishy smell at all, and the grilled oysters were amazingly tasty — rich, buttery, and full of that classic Southern American flavor. For dessert, the biscuit bread pudding was absolutely outstanding. Warm, rich, soft, and incredibly satisfying — definitely one of the highlights of the meal. I also tried their famous Hurricane drink, and it was surprisingly good and refreshing. Honestly, this restaurant impressed me so much that I’m planning to come back again tomorrow before leaving New Orleans. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the French Quarter and looking for authentic New Orleans seafood and Southern flavors.
