    The food was excellent! The red beans and rice were some of the best I’ve ever had. There was nothing we didn’t like! The waitress was great and service was quick. We were sat marina side and it was so cool getting to see the locals clean their daily catch right from where we sat! We will be back.

    Was it my favorite place? No, but I still enjoyed it. They’re open late (until 2am) and have a big selection of different seafood, so there’s bound to be something for everyone! My bridal party and I felt like things could’ve been seasoned more, but overall we enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant is really big and has a variety of seating no matter how big your party is and even if it gets a little loud it we were all able to speak reasonably. For parking, we parked in the Aj’s parking lot, which is free, but we had to go down the stairs on the right for the restaurant. We didn’t realize at first and stood in the short line for the bar on top.

    Ajs has 3 different menus which depends on which of the 3 areas you sit. The down stairs main restaurant has a full menu, the upstairs is a more limited menu but best view, then the harbor seating by the bad is a smaller menu. Pick accordingly or go twice like we did. GET THE TUNA DIP!!!

    GROOT IS THE BEST WAITER EVER!!! Talk about going above and beyond...he really did. He made us our very own green crayon! 🤣 (Shamless silly rant, still the managers should take note) they have a coloring page for the kids that mostly consists of sea turtles. However, NO GREEN CRAYONS?! Not one. You get a red, yellow and blue. Before you say yes I know yellow and blue can make green but when it comes to waxy crayons colored on top one another ...not really. So if your going to have a coloring sheet and only those colors available maybe make a coloring sheet with crabs for the red. 🦀 Sharks and or whales or even dolphins for blue.🦈🐬 IDK just something that maybe requires the colors of crayons you provide. 🤔🤷‍♀️🤣 Anyway, just a thought 😆 Other than that the food was ok ...pricy for what you get in my humble opinion. Kids meals were huge so the kids could share and probably still have leftovers. Might be the perfect size if your a senior or small eater. The view and location was OK too. Decor was cute. All in all I really must say our waiter Groot was the best part hands down.

    This place was the best restaurant/bar I went to during my stay. I highly recommend if you want to go out and enjoy music and great food. The staff were friendly and the view was beautiful. I’ll definitely be going back.
