As somebody who has lived in DFW his entire life, attended countless events, worked with companies all over the Metroplex, and eaten at some of the best restaurants across the country, I'm honestly surprised it took me this long to come. I’m going to say something you may not expect. The steak was outstanding, as good as I’ve had. But the hospitality? It’s been 24 hours and I’m still smiling. That was seriously service in the form of a performing art. I am blown away. Our server, AB, was quite possibly the best server I've ever had. He greeted us both with a handshake, learned our names, paced the meal perfectly, checked in without hovering, served our sides throughout dinner, and somehow managed to make a busy dining room feel personal. Jessica was convinced to step outside her normal filet comfort zone and order the filet cap (spinalis), one of the most prized cuts of beef available. The recommendation was perfect and she loved it. What really impressed me was that every recommendation felt genuine and was presented with logic. Nothing felt like an upsell. Everything felt like guidance from someone who wanted us to have the best possible experience. AB was our steakhouse Sherpa. I don’t want to downplay the quality of the food itself. The steaks were remarkably good, the menu was deep and diverse, and pretty much anything we ate was exceptional. You can’t eat bad food here. But great food is not actually why this place is famous. It’s now obvious to me how Al Biernat's earned the reputation. It was service that made us truly feel like the most important guests in the restaurant. In a time where most restaurants are trying to automate, streamline, and speed everything up, Al Biernat's reminded me that the ultimate form of luxury is still just a human being who genuinely cares about your experience. We will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall experience was great, our server chris was fantastic and the entire staff was accommodating and friendly. There is a but, which for me was the steak, just didn't impress like I had hoped, especially for a steakhouse and for the price. Other than that great, desserts were delish.

The food was delicious. I had filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the enchiladas and they were great. The service was prompt, responsive, worked as a team to make sure we were taken care of, and hospitable. One of the best meals we have had. They helped make our babymoon special.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the service. I would have to give food 1 star. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. As far as the restaurant goes it’s nice but super loud. If you expect to have a nice romantic dinner then this place is not it. Let’s move to the food. I ordered the New York Strip and wife got the Sea Bass with Lobster Risotto. Sea Bass had no flavor at all. Super bland, had to add a bunch of salt to taste anything on the dish. For $60 it should have been perfect. Not to mention my wife got a stomach ache after eating the food. So not sure what was going on that day. Now moving to my steak. I have been to many steak restaurants and this is actually the first time I have experienced a steak that was over seasoned. I mean all my years I have never had a steak that was salted to a point it was barely eatable. I was starving so didn’t want to send it back plus redoing never works out for me. I don’t know if the chef had an off day but missing the mark on both dishes? Maybe they added the salt from the fish to my steak instead. I mean the cook on the steak was perfect so will give them that but for $80 it should have been the best steak ever. My daughter even said that steak I make at home for her tastes better. This is the lowest rating I have given so far to any restaurant. I had high expectations especially for the money I spent. Definitely ruined the day for us.

Had dinner at Al Biernat’s last night and I’m still thinking about it. Started strong with Al’s Bluechip Martini, which set the tone immediately (aka: dangerous in the best way, so dangerous in fact that I needed two). For appetizers, we ordered the classic seafood platter with the tempura tiger prawn, fried calamari, and crab cake, plus the Wagyu carpaccio. The crab cakes were the undisputed star of the night—hands down my favorite thing I ate. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and paired with all the sauces. I would order these again without hesitation and possibly fight my dining companion (boyfriend) for the last bite. The calamari was good but nothing groundbreaking—solid, crispy, no complaints, just not stealing the spotlight. The Wagyu carpaccio was silky and rich, with pine nuts, parmesan, olive oil, and sesame lavosh adding great texture and flavor—light but indulgent at the same time. For mains, we had the sea scallops and the chicken parmesan. The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the coconut rice was unlike anything I’ve had before—in a very good way. Slightly sweet, unexpected, and it worked beautifully with the roasted cauliflower and lime vinaigrette. The chicken parm was super interesting (in a “wait, is that sauce inside the breading?” way). It almost tasted like the sauce was baked into the crust, which made it extra flavorful and honestly kind of genius. Sides were the Brussels sprouts and signature potatoes. The Brussels had great flavor thanks to the bacon and sriracha maple soy glaze, but I would’ve loved them even more if they were crispier. The signature potatoes with gruyère, cheddar, and bacon were exactly what you want them to be (rich, cheesy, and impossible to stop eating). Portion sizes were generous, the value felt totally worth it, and the service was excellent. Our waiter joked around with me and my boyfriend all night, which made the experience even better…top-tier food and personality? We love to see it. Overall: delicious food, great vibes, and a meal I’m still thinking about today. Will absolutely be back (mostly for those crab cakes).
