Everything was amazing! I had my puppy with me and I'm from out of town so I didn't have anywhere to leave him and they opened up the covered patio so we could bring him and eat. The service was absolutely great from Joe and Sean. The food was also really delicious. 10/10 recommend if you're in Cleveland! Thanks guys for being so accommodating to us and Indie!

I literally could not wait to sit down to write this review. With that said, what a disappointment! My husband and I are (excuse me WERE) regulars at the Alley Cat. Not only WERE we regulars, we have recommended it to others...ALL FOR THE WALLEYE FISH SANDWICH! Tonight though, everything has changed. I decided to order our sandwiches to go and because I have had no issues with my food in the past, I did not see any reason to check my order. When I got home, I thought my order was wrong! I specifically ordered the WALLEYE fish sandwich. The sandwich I received looks like one of the fish sandwiches I usually use the Alley Cat Fish sandwich to look down upon. Now, sadly, Alley Cat has joined the ranks of the peasantry of fast food fish sandwiches. In addition to the fact that the bun has been drastically changed from a hearty hoagie style bread to a cheap tasting version of a circle close to Brioche' bun (FAIL), the fish itself has been switched from a flavorful breaded fish filet to a horrible inconsistent non-seasoned plank of battered fish. My bread and fish were both so soggy from the condensation in the box that I literally needed to airfry both in order to consume it because I didn't pay $25 for a sandwich soggy sandwich. Last, when I called to place my order, I specifically asked for the WALLEYE sandwich!!!! Instead of informing me that this sandwich is no longer on the menu and has been entirely replaced with a beer battered HADDOCK, my order was taken business as usual and here we are...disappointed and no longer loving Alley Cat! My photos are what used to be on the menu in comparison to what I brought home!

Delicious food, drinks, and great service! Oysters were amazing and we had to order more! The Nova Scotia ones were very good. We both got the winter seafood dinner which was a whole lot of food with great options!! I have celiac disease and they were knowledgeable about that which I really appreciated. We will be back for sure

It was worth the walk down from the public square to the Alley Cat Oyster Bar. We had the Swordfish served on a bed of lobster mashed potatoes which was excellent, moist yet flaky. Really delicious. Also enjoyed the calamari along with a side of crispy pork belly, both were tasty and not over cooked. Finished it off with their take of Key Lime Pie. Kudos to our server Marcus and the bartender for a great Old Fashion. Definitely recommend.

Every bite was absolutely delicious! We went for brunch and couldn’t have had better service or food. From start to finish, everything was spot on. The staff was warm and attentive, and the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Alley Cat always delivers with creative menu options and a fantastic oyster selection that never disappoints. It’s easily one of my go-to spots in the city. Highly recommend for brunch, dinner, or just oysters and drinks by the water!
