We had a romantic and beautiful dinner. It was our 18 wedding anniversary. My husband made a reservation and they had a beautiful bouquet of roses and 2 glass of champagne. We had the trio empanadas for appetizer and I had the churrasco with fries and I order sweet potato that it was amazing. My husband had a fish filet with mashed potatoes also delicious. Our server Dragana was amazing and also Casey the manager. We recommended 100% and the views, wow

We stopped by Amara at Paraiso for happy hour and had such a great experience—Amara really took care of us. The smoked salmon dip was deeply rich and smoky, served on tostones. Our waiter recommended ordering an extra set, and he was absolutely right—it was the perfect pairing and portion. The yuca and cheese puffs were delicious as well, though definitely on the denser, more indulgent side (not your traditional light Brazilian pão de queijo). We also tried the cheese and caramelized onion empanada, and it completely stole the show. I always judge empanada spots by their non-meat options (since those are often overlooked), and this one was a standout—packed with flavor and easily a favorite. For drinks, we sampled a few: the Amazonia had a citrusy yellow-orange profile that leaned more tart and acidic than sweet—not my personal favorite, but still interesting. The rum and berries cocktail was a hit, as was the signature Amara Aperol Spritz. We also had a caipirinha, which rounded things out nicely. And somehow… we almost skipped dessert—but I’m so glad we didn’t. The banana cheesecake was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. Even without the rum-caramel sauce, the cheesecake itself was absolutely worth every bite—rich, balanced, and unforgettable. Overall, the menu feels like a thoughtful blend of Latin and Caribbean influences with a touch of Florida fusion. Some dishes aren’t traditionally prepared in the classic sense, but they capture familiar flavors in really creative, modern ways. Such a lovely dining experience—I’d absolutely come back.

Exceptional takeout experience — Amara at Paraiso (Edgewater, Miami). We stopped by Amara at Paraiso for lunch, but had to rush, so we ordered to-go. Even with a short wait of about 20 minutes, the level of care, excellence, and presentation for takeout was truly impressive. We ordered the half chicken with salad and sweet potatoes, plus beef empanadas. The chicken was outstanding — honestly one of the highest-quality chicken dishes I’ve had this year, anywhere in the world. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and very well balanced. The empanadas were simply speechless — rich, satisfying, and beautifully executed. What really stood out was how seriously they take the takeout experience. The packaging, cutlery, and overall presentation were all thoughtfully prepared — nothing felt like an afterthought. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, even while managing a busy service. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. Amara proves that even when you’re in a rush, you can still have a top-level culinary experience. Highly recommended — dine in if you can, but even to-go, it’s exceptional.

We had such a great family birthday night at Amara!! Dragana made it extra special being so kind and welcoming to my mother, son and husband. She paid attention to every detail. Service always goes a long way but when someone is genuine and kind the entire birthday experience becomes next level. As for the food, we had the seafood parrillada which was a sampler of all shellfish. It had the best combo of fresh seafood over a bed of exotic herbs and vegetables. I’ll definitely be back for some of that lobster. The burger and churracsco come with perfectly seasoned fries, homemade and not too salty. My mother loved her churrasco and said it was high quality. All appetizers were amazing. We had 3 desserts all of which were pure decadence. Highly recommend Amara for a perfect romantic date night or family night. It’s a fun lively place with the perfect mix of dim lighting and colorful Miami aura. I haven’t been to the brunch I saw advertised but will try soon. I’m confident it’ll be divine!🔥

I had brunch at Amara and it was a great experience. The price-value is absolutely worth it — an all-you-can-eat brunch with live music makes it feel like such a treat. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance truly stands out. The live music creates an amazing vibe that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a fun and lively brunch.
