The ambience was delightful. Our server Jason was magnificent and provided great service. I started off with a nice cup of chili. It was very tasty. I will definitely order it again. I had the creamy bow tie pasta with sausage as my entree. My portions were enough for two meals. I will definitely be returning.

Dined here on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 PM with a party of 8. We only waited about 10 minutes to be seated at a large round table near the front, which was impressive for a group our size. Our waiter, Jason, was very attentive throughout the evening and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with drinks, and I ordered the blueberry tequila sour — twice! They were very good. I ended the night with a French 75, which was also delicious. For appetizers, our table ordered a wide variety including cheese fritters, calamari, crab cakes, artichoke dip, and mussels. Most of the appetizers were enjoyable, especially the crab cakes, which were my personal favorite. The only disappointment was the calamari, which lacked flavor, had a rubbery texture, and even the marinara sauce was bland. After filling up on appetizers, I skipped an entrée and ordered another round of crab cakes instead. While they were excellent, they were served over a bed of pinto beans mixed with salad, which felt like an odd pairing. There are definitely better side options that could complement the dish. Overall, the food was about a 7/10, service was a solid 9/10 (though drinks took a little longer than expected), and the ambiance was pleasantly low-lit without feeling overly formal. It’s a family-friendly spot with a welcoming atmosphere, and I’d definitely consider returning for future special occasions.

As a native New Yorker, I’ve had more than my fair share of outstanding chicken parm over the years. It’s a dish I know well, and I have never sent one back. Unfortunately, this was the first time in my life I’ve had to return not one, but two plates — and ultimately leave after only two bites. The chicken parm was completely overwhelmed by black pepper. Not “well-seasoned.” Not “a little heavy-handed.” It was inedible. You could actually smell the pepper permeating off the plate before even taking a bite. After tasting it, the heat and bitterness completely masked everything else — the sauce, the cheese, the chicken — all lost. Even hours later, I still couldn’t get the pepper taste out of my mouth. I will say the waiter was very understanding and handled the situation professionally. He didn’t charge me for the meal, which I appreciated. I had heard this restaurant’s name mentioned by several people and, being new to Memphis, was genuinely looking forward to trying it. I wanted to like it. But when a classic, simple dish like chicken parm is overpowered to that extent, it’s hard to justify staying, let alone recommending it. I hope this was just an off night in the kitchen, but based on this experience, it was deeply disappointing.

Love italian food? Then come here, seriously its the best around town. Fancy nice atmosphere but without the fancy overpriced menu. Very affordable and on par with normal restaurants but much better quality food and service. This is how all places should be. Their bread is awesome everyone needs to try it, all the food is perfect. Great experience everytime.

I absolutely loved this place. I was hoping for a fine dining experience walking in blind and it did not dissapoint! Walton at the bar made my experience amazing! Walton gave me amazing recommendations that were delicious. He also was very accommodating with my allergies and made me feel like I was in safe hands (which I was!) thank you to Walton and staff for a top notch experience! Have the artichokes and have the pasta of the season! These folks really take care of their customers. Seriously one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time!
