I went to Argosy kind of on a whim and it ended up being way better than I expected. The place has that laid-back, slightly industrial vibe but still feels warm and comfortable once you’re inside. It’s not trying too hard, which honestly makes it better. We ordered a mix of things and everything came out solid. Nothing felt lazy or rushed. The food had that comfort-but-not-boring thing going on, like familiar dishes but done with a little more care than usual. Portions were fair too, not tiny, not overdone. The service was relaxed but still on point. No hovering, no weird delays, just checking in at the right moments and making sure we were good. It kind of matched the whole vibe of the place. It’s the kind of spot where you don’t feel pressured to rush out after eating. You can sit, talk, have another drink, and just let the night stretch a bit. Definitely one of those places I’d go back to without planning it too hard.

I was in ATL for a few nights and came across this spot while browsing Google Maps. Once I saw it, I didn’t even consider anywhere else. I went on a Wednesday around 8 PM and was pleasantly surprised to find out they host free stand-up comedy in the back every Wednesday at 8:30! I chose to sit in that area, which has full bar service and food brought right to your table on a second-story setup. Over the next hour and a half, several comedians performed while I enjoyed incredible food (the margherita pizza and plancha burger) and great cocktails, all while getting a free show!! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the pricing only made the experience that much better. Easily a 10/10.

SO GOOD. The wings were amazing, and the smash burger — both with beef and impossible meat — is delish. Wide beer selection, and there is a special that if you order 2 draft beers after 11pm you get a free pizza. Will definitely be returning for that! If you have a chance you should sit outside, it is a really nice setting in the heart of EAV and has a massive heater to keep you warm!

The food is amazing! Such a lovely vibe. Pizza made fresh and delicious. The Crispy Feta Plate flavors was out of this world. Shocked me! That's for the experience.
