This hotel is in a good location and is walkable to many attractions including Camden Yards. The rooms are a good size and layout. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the rooms need a face lift. The carpets and furniture are shabby and well below Marriott’s usual standards.

Extremely poor hotel, not deserving of the Marriott name. You’re paying hotel prices for a painted-over Econolodge experience. Our first room had an air conditioner which made the most awful squealing noise, even when the system was completely off. No one answered the front desk phone for 20 minutes. We went down and waited in the very understaffed line, and they radioed maintenance to come take a look. We returned to our room and waited another 30 minutes, but no one ever showed. We were eventually moved to a second room. In this one, the door was very challenging to latch and the AC, while quieter, didn’t actually cool the room down at all. At this point we were exhausted and cut our losses for the evening. I rely on the Marriott brand name to indicate a certain level of quality and service. This place doesn’t come close to those expectations. They’re putting a new coat of paint over it but not fixing the underlying issues in a failing building.

Honestly the worst hotel experiance I have ever had. January stay for the volleyball tournament. Front door was broken. Freezing in the lobby. 1hr+ to check-in and we did not get the room reserved. No water our first day in the shower and freezing water the second day when we had water. No one answers the phone, ever! Woke up to pounding and grinding on the roof so I guess we don't need alarm clocks here. If you want warmth, showers, sleep or customer service, avoid this place! Everyone from our team who stayed at the Hilton next door seemed to be super happy with their stay, the Marriott people not so much! Front desk does not care becauae they just seem to be so used to it and the Front Desk Director (Kalin) does not respond to emails (several sent & several reqests for a call). Corperate Marriott customer service does not even seem to care about this property or their loyal customers, when i told them about my stay and just deposited an offensively low amount of points for this experiance considering what we paid.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. It was a great location close to both stadiums and blocks away from the Inner Harbor. Even though the rooms are somewhat dated, it was nice to see signage everywhere that they were in the process of upgrading the facility. They had small refrigerators but no microwaves. Having a coffee place, bar and restaurant all located on the ground floor is appealing for ease of access. The staff from concierge, check-in, and facilities were all very pleasant to deal with, especially the front desk team: Winston, Lucy, DeAndre, and Darrell. They all went out of their way to take care of us and make our stay a good one. They answered all of our questions, gave us suggestions and always had a friendly word when we were in the lobby. We will stay there again.

Our daughter's volleyball team played in the JVA Charm City Challenge. Our team booked at this hotel. While under construction they over booked rooms. Some of our parents didn't have a room when check in came time. Most rooms didn't have hot water, some had no heat. Rooms are very dated for what they charged. Overnight parking cost me $110 for a two day stay. We will never stay in a Marriot owned hotel again. I have stayed at Holiday Inns that where way nicer than this one
