Beacon is hands down Buffalo’s finest dining experiences and a true staple in the city. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is unmatched—warm, elevated, and inviting, making every visit feel like a special occasion. The staff consistently go above and beyond, creating an experience that feels both professional and personal. Their attention to detail, especially when it comes to allergies and dietary accommodations, is something I truly appreciate and don’t see everywhere. The food is simply out of this world. Their vegetable options are some of the best I’ve ever had—creative, flavorful, and far from an afterthought. I continuously order the wagyu, and somehow it outdoes itself every single time—perfectly cooked, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. And the truffle pasta? Easily one of the standout dishes on the menu. It’s indulgent, perfectly balanced, and something I crave long after I leave. Every drink is crafted to perfection, making it clear that just as much care goes into the bar as the kitchen. The Marshmallow Espresso Martini! Ooooweeee! Beacon has truly set the standard for dining in Buffalo. The only thing I wish? That they’d expand into the Northtowns so I could visit daily. It’s that good.

Came here at 5pm on a Tuesday as a group of seven, all first-time customers. Finding nearby parking on Allen was not an issue. The smokey aroma and the well-lit, modern rustic decor was a nice combo. We pre-ordered a fire roasted pig head dinner (48+ hour notice required) for the adults…and we also called ahead about our picky kids and they accommodated our request with big plates of crunchy chicken fingers and fries. A proper beer & wine list covered all the bases, and there were plenty of interesting cocktails to choose from (the smoked Manhattan, and serrano pepper & mango margarita was popping with flavor and perfectly balanced). The five adults all shared small plates to accompany the pig head main event, which we chose to be served with asian-style sides and sauces. We had: wood oven focaccia with koji butter, charred octopus atop paella rice, asian-style glazed ribs special, roasted carrots with pistachio butter, and a burrata & fava bean special. Everything was extremely tasty, well-presented, and devoured completely. The focaccia and octopus were ordered again. The bread/salty butter was super addictive…plus, properly cooked and flavorful octopus like this is a thing of beauty worth doubling up on. Chef Bruce carved up the pig’s head tableside, which was quite the spectacle and a great example of nose-to-tail cooking in Buffalo. It came with bowls of fried rice, smoky grilled bok choi, and julienned potatoes. My favorite parts of the head were the thin sliced tongue, cheeks, the ‘oyster’ from the base of the skull…and of course the crispy crunchy skin! Shocked that I both reached for and ate one of the eyeballs. It had an airy, gelatinous, collagen-filled, fatty texture that was both pillowy soft and immensely sticky when chewed. The staff was friendly, happy, and effective. Julie was our server, a great one at that…she was kind and made us feel like family. TLDR version: Buzzing crowd, inviting atmosphere, incredibly tasty food & drinks, great service, quality menu/vision. Not cheap, but worth every penny. One of Buffalo’s best restaurants. Everyone in our party was impressed and we are looking forward to our next visit!

I don’t know where to start, one of the best all around dining experiences of my life. Started with the toasted marshmallow espresso martini which I had to try three of to confirm how delicious they were. Then me an my two friends order the octopus, lamb meatballs, and bone marrow. Rarely does every appetizer hit but these were all out of the park home runs. For the entree I got the roast chicken, and my friends got the two different duck entrees and a takeout container was not necessary. The vibe and service was just as good as the food, we also had the chance to talk with the owners father who gave us some background on the operation and overall just a very friendly environment with unbelievable food, and not very expensive for the value. I will be back again!

I think everyone in town has heard amazing things about Beacon Grille. I live just a block away, but it's not exactly in our price range. We had a really late lunch Saturday and decided it was a good opportunity to try their late night menu for dinner...and opting to takeout makes it even more our speed. It worked out perfectly!! The late night menu starts at 10 pm. It offers most of their starters from the dinner menu, a small plate or two also on their regular menu, several different pizzas and a couple handhelds...and two desserts. There's plenty to choose from! We ordered the fig and prosciutto pizza, pork belly banh mi (star of the show), fries and the chocolate hazelnut torte. Everything was perfection! Possibly the best restaurant food I've had since moving here six years ago. The prices reflect the quality of the ingredients, the care that they put into preparing everything, and how delicious it is! I'm always griping about restaurant prices and quality of food here in Buffalo...that didn't even come close to being an issue with Beacon Grille. Everything was worth every penny! I want to go into great detail about each dish, but I don't want a TLDR situation. But trust me, it is worth it. Sampling the late night menu definitely inspired us to save up to actually eat in for dinner. I know we won't be disappointed! It's very exciting!

Lovely meal, farm to table establishment with friendly, attentive staff. Lots of GLUTEN FREE options. Big menu with twists on classic dishes. Surprisingly big portions (even the small plates). Carrots were perfect. Octopus was cooked nicely with a piquant red sauce and a potato pancake. The Wagyu steak was only ok for the price. The menu only has aioli marked on some dishes but not all. If you don’t like it, make sure you let them know before you order. Tables were small for the dishes so ask your server to slow the process of bringing out each course. We had the Pavlova for dessert and it was amazing. We shared a bottle of wine and since we didn’t finish it, we could take the rest home. We didn’t have cocktails but we heard that they were amazing.
