The Good: - This is a central location close to JHU. - Prices are reasonable in comparison to local hotels. - Keyless entry. The Bad: - The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. The Christmas-themed bath mat was so gross that I threw it in the hall when using the shower. - This house has 7 or 8 bedrooms, yet only has 2 bathrooms. This means you might be waiting for a while (up to 45 minutes!) to use the bathroom. - All parking for blocks around is 2-hour parking or metered. You risk getting a ticket if you have a car. - You cannot adjust your AC unit. My room was quite warm throughout my stay. - This is not a hotel. Do not expect any towels or washcloths. - The housekeeping staff literally speaks no English. Not a single word. - I explained to the owner that I was pesticide-sensitive prior to booking. Either the owner or another tenant used pesticide extensively during the final two days of my stay. This caused me to have a painful reaction. No apology, explanation, refund, or reply was offered by the owner. - The owner also did not reply when asked about parking passes.
