Cozy space with attentive service. Their wine list is impressive. I tried the prix fixe menu that offered a variety of appetizers, choice of beef, fish, and vegetarian entrees, with the option of adding duck breast, caviar, etc. The sourdough bread with herb butter (you order it separately) was very satisfying. I highly recommend the crepe for dessert. All items were cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. The soup was lukewarm and could have been served at a higher temperature. The entrees were delicious but somewhat predictable and therefore I chose to give it 4 stars instead of 5.

I’m honestly not sure if I’d return to this spot. While it’s described as a French restaurant, the menu definitely leans more toward a French-American fusion. We ordered from the $60 Prix Fixe menu, but the experience was a bit hit or miss. The Celery Remoulade was quite plain. I only remember tasting just celery and nuts, and overall a bit bland for an appetizer. The Beef Cheeks Bourguignon was also just okay. The beef was tender enough, but the flavour lacked that rich, deep complexity you'd expect from a classic Bourguignon. The turnips and carrots were fine, but the dish as a whole wasn't particularly memorable. The highlight was definitely the Crêpe Suzette. It was smaller and moister than I anticipated, but the flavour was easily the best of the three courses. Overall, it was a decent meal, but for the price point, I was hoping for something more distinct.

Bouche is a really cute little French restaurant, tucked away in an unassuming spot in SF. Kinda tricky to actually find, but worth checking out. The staff were super friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The food is adventurous if that’s what you want, or a bit more traditional if that’s what you’re more comfortable with. It was nice that they have a fresh seasonal menu every couple months. I’d be curious to come back someday and try some more dishes here. The bread and charcuterie were particularly delicious. Highly recommend.
