It was a great stop. My mom was visiting from out of town and loves Forrest Gump so it seemed perfect. Our server Jasmine was spectacular! She was kind and patient. I actually forgot my card after paying and we just so happened to still be outside taking my pictures and she brought my card out to me. And then took a picture of my mom and I since they weren’t super busy. You don’t get service like that often and some people wouldn’t have returned the card in this day and age. So honesty is not dead.

The shrimp Mac and cheese and the jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer were delicious! The shrimp scampi was a bit bland and didn’t have much flavor. It sat in a tomato water that wasn’t great but it was a big portion. The stuffed shrimp was the best!!!! They seemed to be short staffed as the service was slow and it took about 35 minutes before anyone came to take our order. But once they did the food came out pretty quick.

My Daughter & I ate here while in Florida. We both enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was super nice. I hate I can't remember her name, we were there March 13th. I felt ashamed because my 19 yo Daughter got the answers to the trivia & I only got one right 🤭!! We give the food, waitress & the atmosphere 5 ⭐️s!! Edit: I found the card she gave us & her name was Melody!! Thank you so much for being nice to us!! You was an AMAZING waitress!! Much love from MS!! 😘

This place had delicious food and great customer service. The only thing I didn’t love was the coconut shrimp but I’m not typically a person that likes coconut. If you love coconut shrimp, I would say give theirs a try! The host and server were extremely pleasant and quick. There was no wait and plenty of parking. I love the newspaper as the plate lining; I thought that was very creative and unique!

We drove into Destin and chose this restaurant based on the location being next to the hotel. On the way to the hostess stand we were greeted by multiple staff members. They were all super friendly and ready to welcome us with a Hello and a smile. We decided to begin with a calamari as an appetizer. The fried calamari was overdone and it did not taste fresh. Dinner Items Ordered: Fried Chicken Tenders with French Fries, this plate was served with enough that we had leftovers. Fresh tasting and well cooked. Ribeye Steak with Mashed Potato, the steak was cooked to the proper temperature, well seasoned; however, the meat was not the best quality. Kids Rib Plate, decent portion for younger guest. The ribs were not able to be enjoyed due to them being a little spicy. Favorite Part of Visit: 1. Our server, Jasmine, was warm, friendly, and kind. We never had to ask for anything. We love the fact that she played trivia with us while we were waiting on our food. 2. Dessert, it would be worth another trip. The plating was so well executed on all of our desserts. They were all fresh, warm and absolutely delicious. The Strawberry Shortcake is not something I normally would purchase but I am so glad I did. It was a rich Shortcake with a cream layer underneath the ice cream. 3. Atmosphere, the entire staff was friendly. Very attentive to the customers. And it was fun reading all the different facts around the room.
