Had such an amazing experience at the cafeteria restaurant with my book club today 🤍 From the moment we walked in, the environment was welcoming, cozy, and just overall a great vibe — especially on a cold, rainy day. The staff truly made the entire visit stand out. The manager was incredible — so friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable while we waited for our table, which honestly made such a difference. Once seated, everything flowed perfectly. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as good. You can really tell when a place takes pride in both their food and service. And I have to shout out our server, Dylan LL he was so much fun, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience even better. He did such a great job with our table and really made our visit memorable. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend 🤍

I’m writing this review solely because Dyllan was amazing! While the food was really good, Dyllan was such a vibe and he made our dining experience so fun. We were a group of 8 girls and he interacted with us as much as he could have provided amazing service.

It had been a while since I came by Cafeteria for a bite. Originally, it was for the late night after the bar inebriated meal, this time it was for an adult meal and dinner. I came by with no reservation and thankfully was able to get seated after a few minutes. After being seated, my friend and I got right into it. Neither of us were that hungry so we kept it pretty light with mostly starters and drinks. Ordered the espresso martini to kickstart the evening as well as the deviled eggs, mac and cheese sampler trio, brussel sprouts, calamari and Cobb salad. All were delicious, especially the deviled eggs and mac and cheese sampler. The place was pretty busy that night and almost every table was taken which was a surprise for me as the day before when I checked it seemed to be fully available. Guess you never know what to expect in New York City. This definitely gave it that lively New York energy I recalled. The only thing that could’ve been better was our server. Feel like he barely came by or was present for the meal.

Manager Nicholas always takes the time to greet and connect with customers, even making the effort to learn your name. If you are a returning guest, he truly makes you feel like family. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure all expectations are met and that every guest feels welcome and appreciated. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the ambiance is incredible with wonderful music that makes the experience even more enjoyable.

I had a wonderful brunch at Cafeteria. We lucked out with parking right in front of the restaurant and were seated right away. The food was excellent. The Crispy Rock Shrimp was the highlight of the meal and one of the best versions I have ever had. We also ordered the Truffled Eggs, the Eggs Benedict, the Rude Margarita, and the Blood Orange Margarita. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Service started off a little uneven because our first server was not the friendliest, but thankfully Gino took over and completely changed the experience. He was warm, attentive, and very kind. His service really made the visit memorable. Overall this was a great brunch and I would definitely return the next time I am in New York.
