What a lovely spot. It really reminded me of a restaurant you would find in Paris. Just a little more spaced out and comfortable. ;) The food was fantastic. As the menu is primarily meat options, it was great to see you so many thoughtful vegetarian dishes that had not been added as a second thought. The snap peas with zaatar were by far the best shining dish followed by the ricotta stuffed gnocchi. We were very impressed and our server was just the sweetest. We definitely will return someday.! just make sure to get a reservation.

Probably the chillest French restaurant I’ve been to. No white table clothes, standard table set-ups, just like a casual neighborhood pub. Except that the food just completely outshines. The iconic steam burgers, Foie Gras Dumpling, and Trout was amazing. Especially the broth and shallot jam start to Foie Gras kicking in after mellow bites through the dumpling dough were phenomenal. I’d definitely come back next time.

We knew we'd have to wait without a reservation, but it was well worth it! The fois gras dumplings are exquisite and we regretted not doubling our order. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and checked on us often, but not too much. We went with her cocktail recommendation and were very impressed. Such a lovely meal in a lovely city. Canard is a must-stop when visiting Portland!

Amazing food, and welcoming environment. It's a more relaxed dining experience compared to Le Pigeon, but with the same top tier food. We came for resturant month on a date, and everything we ate was delicious. The combination of flavors on every dish paired well. The cara cara chicory salad may have actually been my favorite with a very crisp, tangy, and sweet flavor profile. I can't say a bad thing about anything we ate. Both of us had a drink with dinner, and we're full after three courses. I will definitely be back. Overall I'd rate it the same as I did Le Pigeon, the same top tier food but with a different dining experience 9.4/10.

Highlights were the eggs and the oysters. The steam burger is really talked about but I thought it was whatever. The foie gras dumplings had not enough filling in my opinion and! feel like I just tasted a lot of dumpling skin. The duck frites was okay. I came here using my chase sapphire reserve benefits and I'm glad I got to try it but not sure if | Will return. I enjoyed sitting at the bar and got to see the chefs working in the kitchen.
