Let me start with the good! The restaurant has a very casual yet upscale feel to it, I liked the lighting, in that it's not too dim as to make it difficult to read the menu, but still intimate enough for a date. Our waiter, and I apologize for not remembering his name was attentive, but not overbearing, though he did forget our drinks and even what we ordered. We selected the antipasto to start, the cheese selection was decent but the accoutrements were sub-par! Like instead of a nice bit of honey and a fig or fruit chutney there was a small tin of loose liquid cherry preserves?? And some spicy mustard ( it could have been Guldens ) and a few pickled green beans and some stringy celery and the crispy wafer crackers were not. The tuna carpaccio was so tasteless we barely knew what to make of it, and the meatball app could have been from Costco. Then our entrees arrived and at first glance was interesting, but upon closer inspection and tasting, it fell short. In trying to achieve a nice crispy skin on top they had failed to monitor the internal temperature and it was dry, also the vegetables with it should have appeared fresh, but instead were completely drowned in the red sauce giving it the appearance of a stew. And the overwhelming taste of artichoke was too much for my companion. So much promise, and so little time! On to the next spot! ~ The Superb-intendent

ON YOUR MARKS!! This place is killer good and what a cool vibe it has. Italian old world decor with incredible dishes. We were blown away by the flavors brought to life in front of us. From the cheese stick appetizer to the meatballs to the Brussels sprouts, it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at a restaurant. We got several pastas and the facachia bread. Holy smokes it was craze good. The gnocchi was terrific, the bolognese sauce was out of this world and so was the third one we got. Then we got a flight of gelato and BOOM!! The sky just fell in our laps. We had vanilla, lemon, and olive oil (YES!!!) incredible way to end a splendid meal.

Lovely experience at Catherine & Mary’s tonight! We had James as our server and he was absolutely incredible taking us through the menu and recommending dishes to us. Highly recommend the brussels sprouts and casonsei (similar to a ravioli / stuffed pasta dish). The banana republic drink and cornbread were also two of our surprisingly favorite orders! We also got the lamb for dinner. Very similar vibe to the lobbyist next-door, but I think I enjoyed the ambience here a tad more. Great spot for an anniversary or a nice dinner :)

When you go to this restaurant, please keep in mind the portions are small, so it's a good idea to order various things. That being said, the service is excellent, great atmosphere, and some of the various dishes are quite delicious. The tuna tartare and pasta with the pork shoulder, kale, and pancetta really stood out for me. I've been here multiple times and will continue to come back.

The atmosphere and service was great. Our waitress gave us amazing recommendations and made fun small talk which made the experience nice. We really liked the industrial look of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. The best was the brussel sprouts. The cornbread (even a little crispy) was great, especially with the mascarpone. My wife had the halibut which she said was great and I had the quail which was decent (a little over salted and too much sauce). The desert was carrot cake which honestly could have done without. It was about the size of a half dollar and dry. Almost like it was store bought and frozen.
