I really wanted to like Chimichurri in Kingwood because some aspects of the meal were genuinely good. The steak, pork chop, and grilled chicken were all enjoyable, and the Argentine sausage was excellent—authentic and probably the highlight of the food. Unfortunately, the best part of the entire experience was Chad, the bartender. He was attentive, professional, and did everything he could to make up for the restaurant's shortcomings. If customer service throughout the restaurant matched Chad's level, this would be a very different review. The kitchen and management, however, were another story. We had to repeatedly ask for plantain chips, my meal arrived incorrectly, and although we were offered a discount for the mistake, it never appeared on the check. After waiting an extended period for a flan dessert that never arrived—despite multiple reminders—I finally asked Chad to cancel it and bring the check. For a restaurant positioning itself as a fine dining experience, the execution was disappointing. Good food can only carry a restaurant so far when service, communication, and management consistently fall short. Kingwood deserves better. Until this establishment learns to treat customers with the same care and professionalism that Chad demonstrated, I cannot recommend it.

Some of the most flavorful best food I’ve had in Houston. All the staff are very kind. Amazing view of the lake. Plenty of parking. Recommend semi formal dressing.

First and foremost our waiter David was absolutely fantastic. He knew every detail of the menu and made recommendations based on our questions and preferences. He recited the daily special perfectly and was absolutely wonderful. We ordered drinks from the bar and they were wonderfully crafted. Well worth it to have a drink so well made that paired with our dinner. The food was incredible. The chef absolutely nailed the orders and the presentation was fantastic. We will certainly be coming back for the wonderful service, food, and friendly staff.

My wife and I came here for our 5th anniversary, and overall the experience was excellent. All of the food was very good, with only one dish that didn’t quite meet my expectations. We started with the crab fingers, which were delicious, along with the complimentary yuca chips and chimichurri—both very flavorful. I ordered the Sancocho De Pollo soup before my entrée, and it was amazing. My wife had the Pollo Maracana, and the crab was sweet while the chicken was cooked perfectly—juicy and full of flavor. We also ordered mashed potatoes and the Truffle Mac N Cheese, and both sides were fantastic. For my main dish, I chose the 8oz Churrasco A La Chimichurri cooked medium rare. It was good, but for the price and presentation, I honestly feel like I could have made a better steak at home. That was the only part of the meal that fell a little short for me. They surprised us with complimentary truffle cake for our anniversary, and while I don’t eat cake, my wife said it was amazing. Our server was outstanding—attentive, quick, and always there right when we needed something. The general manager also stopped by several times and was very friendly and hands‑on with her team. All in all, we had a great anniversary dinner and will definitely be coming back again.

Had Mother’s Day lunch here. We could have had the special dinner for $60, but decided to have the Sea Bass. Didn’t realize that it was going to cost $54.00 and it wasn’t very good(market price wasn’t listed). The vegetables that came with the dish tasted like they had been cooked with oil that was rancid. We were disappointed. The manager said she would look into it and suggested I come back for lunch where you get the entree and two sides for around $20. I had the fish at their lunch before and enjoyed it. But when you pay almost $100 for a Mother’s Day lunch and you are not satisfied, do you want to talk about coming back? I have to say the service and atmosphere was excellent.

A wonderful location for a nice business lunch. There are terrific items on the menu. Our food was perfectly made and the wait staff, Angel, was very attentive and helpful. I do recommend it highly but check out the prices for your assessment ahead of going. Excellent atmosphere and food!
