One of my favorite stops while in New Orleans. As busy as they are with locals and tourists, they always have a seat for me. This time I had the muffuletta with house-made chips. It's a different sandwich than you'll get elsewhere. The house cured meat is the star of the show not the olive mix. And for 19 bucks you get the whole freakin' sandwich. Come hungry. Paired it with a chenin blanc for the perfect lunch. Great service.

Cochon Butcher in New Orleans absolutely delivered! We stopped in and ordered the Cubano and the buckboard bacon melt, and both sandwiches were outstanding—packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and seriously delicious. The Cubano had that ideal mix of crispy bread, savory pork, and tang, while the buckboard bacon melt was next-level with its smoky, rich taste. We washed it all down with their refreshing lemonade, which was the perfect bright and fresh complement to the hearty sandwiches. The food and drinks were great across the board, and a huge shoutout to Chris, who did an excellent job taking care of us with friendly, attentive service that made the whole experience even better. If you're in New Orleans and looking for top-notch sandwiches and butcher-shop vibes, Cochon Butcher is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend

What a delightful restaurant to try cochon for the first time. My boyfriend and I walked up and were seated right away. It was busy and the atmosphere was lively. It’s a pretty loud restaurant but still enjoyable. The staff and food were great! Definitely recommend making this a stop if you’re visiting NOLA. Order the mac & cheese! We enjoyed the pineapple upside down cake a lot!

Food: 4 Service: 4 Cleanliness: 4.5 Atmosphere: 4.5 We found our way to Cochon Butcher after a trip to the WWII Museum. It's a super easy walk for a casual lunch. The vibe is laid-back with a menu full of hearty, comforting options. We ordered a little bit of everything: the Cochon Muffuletta, Cuban, burger, mac n’ cheese, pretzel and sausage plate. Overall, everything was really good — flavorful, filling and hit the spot. The only miss for me was the boudin. And honestly, that might just be a me thing. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the texture threw me off a bit. It was kinda mushy and looked raw. I’m guessing that’s how it’s supposed to be… just not my vibe. Would recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

We visited around 1 pm on a Saturday and there was a line out the door. The line moved quickly and we surprisingly found a table. We got the fried chicken which was a special on Saturday. It was so moist and delicious. The collard greens had bacon chunks which was something I had never tried before. Our kids had the mac and cheese and the ham stuffed pretzel. Everything was perfect and the prices were very reasonable. Can’t wait to visit again!
