I ordered 2 sandwiches with no slaw in the drive thru. She even repeated it back to me. When I got home they had lots of slaw and it was a mess. A very disappointing expensive mess.

Corky's is one of the most consistent BBQ spots around. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The pulled pork, ribs, and sides never disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the Brentwood area

Don't let the hip, fancy names of Nashville BBQ joints fool you. Corky's. Is. The. Spot. We dined in and loved the ambience, service was great (thanks, OJ!!), but the food even better!! Simple menu and we tried a lot. Ribs, smoked turkey, and the pulled pork amazing. Banana pudding... yes! We'll definitely be back.

I recently visited Corky’s in Brentwood and ordered the smoked chicken. The food itself was good and reasonably priced at $10, but the atmosphere completely ruined the experience. While trying to enjoy my meal in peace, I had to sit there and listen to a conversation between a white customer wearing a Trump hat and a white staff member. They were going on and on about how wonderful Trump is, with the staff member openly joining in and praising him. I was deeply offended. Furthermore, it is noticeable that you never see any Black people working in this restaurant. Trump is leading a white supremacist movement, and seeing a staff member openly promote him right in front of Black customers—in an environment with no Black representation on staff—makes it clear that this establishment tolerates, if not supports, that ideology. An employee would not feel that comfortable having those political discussions on the floor unless the management and ownership approved of it. Many people will look at this and dismiss it, calling me a paranoid Black man. But the reality is that many white folks won't even admit that white privilege is real, let alone acknowledge that Trump is a racist—which is a sad state of affairs. As the elders used to say, the more things change, the more they stay the same. I chose not to say anything at the moment because I just wanted to eat my meal, but I will not be going back to this establishment. Black people, I do not feel this is a safe or welcoming restaurant for us.
