I enjoyed the service. The room was good with the exception of the beds. The double beds were soft, and I could feel the springs when laying on the bed. I been a member since 2002, and this is the first time I've had a problem with the bed's comfort.

I have never been more disrespected in my life then I have at this Marriott location. We booked a room for Tuesday-Saturday. I knew that we were not going to be there until early Wednesday morning. I called to make sure they knew we were coming. I was reassured I would be able to get the room I booked. There was 5 of us staying so I needed a QNQN room with a pullout. We get there and they put us in a room with just the two beds. I asked if they could put us in the room I booked and I was told no. I told them to send up more beding because my son was going to have to sleep on the floor. And he did that night. We then took a nap and around 4pm I went down and talked to someone different. They said they couldn’t do anything for us and that I couldn’t use my employee discount on food. This irritated me so the next day when we changed rooms I talked to the AGM. They were able to move us at 9am. With them able to move us that told me they always had my room available they were just trying to sell it. I asked the AGM this and why I couldn’t use my employee discount. She said she would look into it for me. I do have to say she was really nice and sweet but did not offer to reconcile the situation for me. When we returned she was able to tell me our original room that we were expose to have had a late check out and then they had to clean the carpet. I for a fact know this was a lie because we were expose to check in on Tuesday and because we were late they sold our room. Also the carpet was not cleaned because when we went into the room the floor was dirty and had random pills on it. Also after we had already checked out they charged my card an extra $20 on top of the incidental fee and could not tell me why but I was reassured the money would be back onto my card. I was highly disappointed on how I was treated at this location and this makes me think twice of staying with Marriott or sending any of my friends or family. I will also be calling corporate.

This hotel seems to be saving money in the strangest ways to me. A community microwave....yuck, room is roomy with two queens but you can only hang up one towel (I was advised you could hang wet towels in the closet with hangers, cool pool from what I saw but it was wet and rainy so useless. If you are here for golf or staying by yourself its great. As a family I would never stay here again overpriced for the product.

Our short stay at this oceanfront hotel was great overall. We loved evenings on the 2nd floor patio deck with a fire. The only exception was the lack of room cleaning service on a day that we requested service. All the staff was friendly and accommodating otherwise. Tracy Jarrell (I hope I spelled her last name correctly) made our stay exceptionally fun! Her service at the Bistro and Oceans 21 lounge was outstanding with her great personality and she can make a mean expresso martini. Looking forward to our next visit.

1⭐ Review for Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Broadway Very disappointed with this stay, especially considering the room was about $300 per night. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price. The room also felt dirty, like it had only been lightly cleaned and things were just pushed under the beds instead of properly cleaned. The bathtub didn’t drain correctly, so water would just sit there and we literally had to push the water toward the drain with our feet, which was strange and frustrating. The bed squeaked loudly every time you moved, making it hard to sleep. Our room was also located right next to a main door that slammed extremely loud every time someone used it, so there was constant noise. We also had a baby with us, and the door slamming kept waking the baby up, which made the night even more difficult. Even the outside areas looked poorly maintained, with cigarette butts everywhere, which didn’t give a great impression. For $300 a night, I expected a clean, well-maintained, and quiet room. Unfortunately, this stay was not worth the price at all.
