This was my first time at Crown Block and it won’t be my last. As expected, the restaurant had gorgeous views of Dallas but everything about the dining experience was incredible. We had George as our server and he was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, made great recommendations, and checked in on us often. We ordered A LOT of food (burger, filet mignon, several sides, several hand rolls and crudo) and they were all pretty tasty. My favorites were: 1. Yellowtail crudo 2. Steakhouse roll (from the Chef’s menu) 3. Filet mignon

Fine dining 100%, you will have a great time here if you enjoy solid views overlooking Dallas’s skyline and top tier food. Parking was complimentary with your reservation, the service was top notch too! You get a complimentary drink while you wait for your table and the staff is very friendly. It is a bit expensive but you really get what you pay for, we spent $292 but had multiple drinks, an entree, sharable sides and dessert. Gratuity is added for parties of 6+ so be mindful of that.

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday, drove from Kansas. I wasn't sure what this would be like based on other reviews but this was a really cool experience! We had reservations and the elevator wait wasn't bad. Seating was extremely fast. The staff was so sweet and attentive. Never had an empty cup. The atmosphere was relaxed and scenery was so cool from the view we had. The food from appetizer to main course to dessert was phenomenal. So beautifully presented I almost didn't want to eat it and ruin it lol. My family and I had a great experience here and my husband was really happy with this surprise birthday dinner choice. A must try!!

Last minute reservation open up so we got lucky and went for dinner. Server Jake was super. Food was good though not great. Steak cook well but there’s are better steak places. Sushi was good but there are better sushi places. The view is amazing. The starting complimentary cocktail was nice touch. Ride up the elevator was fun. Bar area while waiting for our table is great idea. Just think that it would be better if checking in downstairs then hostess waiting by the elevator to walk us to our table would be better.

My family came here for the first time for a graduation celebration for my brother and had a pleasant time. The restaurant was decorated nicely for Christmas and had a warm, low light atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive, explained every menu in detail and our waters were topped up often throughout the meal. My brother first tried some salmon nigiri, and said the salmon was high quality. I got the Pork Tomahawk, and it was very good. It could have been a bit more moist, but I found it enjoyable. For sure indulge in one of the sauces if you get it. My partner got the lamb rack. He raved about the tzatziki style sauce and found it very enjoyable. My mom got the salmon dish from the mains, and said it was the best salmon she’d ever had. My brother got the real standout, which was the (I think) Kansas City striploin. One of the best steaks I’ve had in my life for sure. Cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. We all shared an Apple dessert that was lovely, especially the high quality ice cream that came with it. Kindly, the restaurant also brought out a complementary special occasion dessert of cake pops and cookies. Overall, you may note that the prices are steep (and I agree), but this is very much a special occasion style place. I would return for another occasion like a birthday or anniversary in the future, but not for anything day to day.
