This restaurant is amazing. The atmosphere is great - although you are in a crowded restaurant, the tables and lighting are set up like you aren't. For example, it's dark in the restaurant but each table has overhead lighting that allows you to see and read the menu. The waiter was elegantly dressed and very versed not only in the food with recommendations, but also with wine and cocktails. The food was top-notch. From the complementary bread in a unique bundt pan/tear off design to the beautiful French onion soup - can that be beautiful? To perfectly cooked aged steak, scallops, pasta, risotto, caprese salad I couldn't quit eating. You get the pic. The only negative was a very ordinary tiramisu. Go figure. Not cheap, but one of the best meals I've had in a very long time.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The menu is spectacular. Every item I ate from here over a week was made with the highest-quality, best-prepared ingredients. Presentation is top for artistry and appeal. Highly recommend the burrata app, lobster bisque, wedge salad, chicken entree, petit fillet, roasted asparagus and mac & cheese sides. Parker rolls are a delight as well. Brunch offers wonderful fresh juices and an optimal menu variety. The pictured exquisite salad was the beet tartare. Desserts are housemade gorgeous creations that are equally as tasty as beautiful. Service in the bar table area was a bit wonky but the bartender Kristen was fantastic. She whipped up a beautiful delicious cocktail for me that hit the perfect notes as requested. Bravo!

From the time we walked in the hostess was very polite. We did not have a reservation, but she made sure we would get a table. Once we were seated our server Angel was outstanding. He was able to explain the menu and dishes in detail. Throughout our dinner he made sure our drinks were flowing, plates were being taken and even made an excellent choice for our dessert. This wasn’t our first time dining at Dean’s and it most certainly won’t be our last.

Me and my husband celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary here on Saturday and I was quite impressed to say the least. To start off our server, Auya (I hope I spelled that right by) was absolutely AMAZING, from personalizing a drink for me, to making a special butter for the amazing rolls, to the recommendations on Austin night light… 100/10 she was super attentive the entire night and made my experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious, the Cesar salad was very good, the steak was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were so rich in flavor with the truffles on top, the bread cake for dessert with ice cream on top, and an honorable mention for the rolls!!! Overall, we enjoyed every moment from walking in to walking out and will be back!!

Weekend getaway to Austin, went here for dinner. Saw good reviews, decided to try it out, so made reservations. As we were walking by the day before our reservation, we went in to just check it out. Talked to the host, asked if we could arrange to sit at the bar the next day, they said no problem. When we actually went the next day, as we walked in, the same person said “Hi Bill, welcome back” and led us to our bar seats which had a reserved card with our name on it…nice! Ambience - very nice upscale setting, coat and tie down to casual dress both fit in. Staff and service - lots of very efficient people taking care of you. The bartender “Holly” was quite entertaining, would go down the conversation road if you wanted, or would leave you alone also, but always kept an eye on you to make sure you didn’t need anything. Drinks - ordered a classic daiquiri and an old fashioned, both excellent. My wife said she likes the cherries in an old fashioned…Holly gave her 4! Food - Since it is an Italian steak house, we ordered a steak, pasta, and a side of vegetables. We always split everything between two of us, and wanted a steak, but they can be quite large here, even if splitting. A ribeye was 22 ounces, more than what we wanted, so we wound up ordering the smaller barrel cut 10oz filet instead. For the pasta we ordered the special, “Penne alla Vodka” with garlic, shallots, vodka, cream, grana padano and basil. For our side vegetable we had the charred broccolini. While we were waiting on our food, they gave us their signature bread, an outstanding light, puffy yeast style roll…very very good! The steak was perfectly cooked, the pasta outstanding, and the vegetables very good. A very good experience. The steaks can be pricey depending on what you order, with prices ranging from $42 for a 10oz flatiron, all the way up to 36oz Tomahawk Ribeye for $250. But whatever you order, the experience, service, and food quality is well worth it. Would I go there again…absolutely! Would I recommend…most definitely!
