Had a little breakfast here this morning, I was greeted by my wonderful server Addie. She helps me make decisions on the menu and recommended the yogurt parfait which was delicious! It was just enough to fill me up for the morning. Addie It was just a delight. She was super kind and very attentive.

I recently had dinner at Dean's Italian Steakhouse in the JW Marriott Charlotte and overall had a good experience. To start, I ordered the steak tartare and crab cake appetizers. Both were delicious and well prepared, though I was a little disappointed that the crab cake course included only a single crab cake. The flavors were excellent, but I would have loved a bit more on the plate. For my entrée, I had the 8 oz petite filet mignon. It was cooked exactly to my requested temp, which I appreciated, although I found it slightly saltier than I prefer. Dessert was the bread pudding, and it was outstanding. Rich, flavorful, and a great way to end the meal. The service throughout the evening was attentive, professional, and welcoming. The staff did a great job and contributed significantly to the overall experience. One thing to keep in mind is the atmosphere. Because the restaurant is connected to the hotel lobby, there is a steady flow of foot traffic and a higher noise level than you might expect from a traditional fine dining steakhouse. If you're looking for an intimate, quiet dining experience, this may not be the ideal setting. However, if you're meeting friends, entertaining clients, or simply enjoy a lively atmosphere, it works really well. While I wouldn't rank this as the best steak I've had in Charlotte, the quality of the food, excellent service, and overall experience make it a restaurant I would happily visit again in the future.
