As a fan of mid-century architecture, Cross Keys is a very cool place and the Delta Hotel retains many architectural elements that were iconic in the last half of the twentieth century: casement windows, angled ceilings for rooms on the fourth floor and nice transitions from lobby to courtyard. That said, the elevators need thoughtful upgrades. It would be good if Delta/Marriott corporate would take a look at what Hilton did with Hotel Marcel in New Haven. Service is lackadaisical: when I arrived at 7ish, the front desk man was out in the courtyard gabbing away on his cell phone. I cooled my heels for about five minutes before tapping on the window to wave him in; friendly enough but after a day of travel I don't need to have bit of banter about how he can't be behind the counter all day; meh, we're all working, aren't we? I think much would be improved if corporate decided that this site is vintage cool and upgrade/restore accordingly. Once that is done the staff can be trained accordingly.

This hotel is a bit unique and exceptional. It is situated right in a very small complex of shops and terrific restaurants & eateries: There are three full service restaurants (Mexican, Chinese and Italian/new American cuisines), an amazingly good coffee, bread & pastry shop (that actually has a good offerings of breakfast and lunch items), and an ice cream shop. As well as some stores (there's a Williams-Sonoma), but I was here for a work trip, so I appreciated the restaurants close by. Everyone I spoke with at the hotel was very friendly and very helpful when I had simple requests.

This hotel is covertly located near several colleges. The rooms are spacious and clean. Love the restaurants and shops within walking distance. They offer free breakfast and free parking. This is my family's go-to hotel when we visit my daughter at college.

After having a negative experience involving a room cancellation, local management made things right! We completely enjoyed our stay! My stepmom had a procedure done at MedStar UM, and we didn't expect to stll be in Baltimore at 6pm. We decided to stay and we were pleased!! Thank you Mr. Bowden and Keith. Thank you for your care and concern regarding my stepmom, and offering a fair solution! Tammy Tull Salisbury MD

I stay in this hotel at least once a month and I love it. - the staff is so sweet - parking garage is right under the hotel and always good spots available - breakfast is free and lovely - the gym is large (at night it’s pretty much empty during the day I don’t recommend trying to get in there) - rooms are HUGE and a little outdated but super clean. The fact that hotels update every five years or so is crazy save our earth there is no need for it.
