Food was awesome! Ate here based off several recommendations and we were not dissapointed. Ahi Tuna melted in our mouth. Spicy seafood gumbo had a great flavor and just enough spice for a little tickle in the back of your throat. Hushpuppies were great and the slaw was good, I am picky about my slaw! Our server LIZ was spot on knowledge wise about the dishes and flavors. Everything she described when it was brought out was just like she said. She ran around all night and always had a smile on her face!

Our favorite restaurant in Destin. Always amazing food and service and drinks. We have been to so many restaurants in the area and nothing lives up to Dewey. Great atmosphere and everything is delicious and so fresh. I wish they would bring back their sesame tuna and some of their old side dishes but their current menu items are still fabulous.

I had made a reservation and arrived an hour early. They gave us a table anyways on the patio. This restaurant was a recommended by a coworker and it certainly did not disappoint. I had the Pecan Crusted Mahi. It was wonderful. My husband had the Gumbo. We also ordered an appetizer. Service was great as well. We certainly will return.

don’t let the entrance for you you feel like you’ve made a wrong turn but boy have you hit the jackpot when you come to Dewey’s! Service was super nice and fast. The food was delicious and the view cannot be beat! We are already hoping we can go again soon!

Went in today after driving from Texas and got pecan crusted grouper, fried flounder and buffalo shrimp. Our waiter was great and had his recommendations. First the Buffalo shrimp; wife and daughter usually love fried buffalo shrimp but neither liked these. I thought they were ok. First problem was that there was barely any sauce on them making them basically just fried shrimp that looked like someone spilled a little sauce on them. Had they covered them, they would have been much better. Second, they were kinda chewy. We could have skipped the shrimp. My wife got the pecan crusted grouper. She liked it so much we had to all get a bite and to be honest, it was of the charts good; some of the best fish we've ever eaten. The hush puppies were great as well. My daughter and i got the fried flounder and it too was excellent. Over all the food was outstanding. For an order of buffalo shrimp, 6 extra hush puppies, a tea, a coke, two plates of fried flounder (with fries) and one plate of grouper with fries, it came out to $140. I felt the price was excessive for what we got but the food was very good quality. If you don't mind the high prices, the food is excellent. Highly recommended!
