We ate here (my coworker and I) while staying at the hotel for a conference and thought the food was quite good and service was good (excellent at the bar in fact). Their smoked old fashioned is top shelf and the chicken flatbread pizza is delicious. The flatbread pizza was so good we came back another night to get it again.

Went on Valentine’s Day and waited about 30 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn’t bad at all considering we didn’t have reservations. That part was actually impressive. Unfortunately, once we were seated in the bar area, the experience went downhill. It took about an hour for our server to come by and take our drink and appetizer order. Our appetizers arrived roughly 40 minutes later, but no one came back to take our dinner order. We finally placed our order— only to wait yet another hour for the food. At that point, we decided to have it packed up to go. We were seated at 7:52 PM and didn’t receive our food (to-go) until 9:40 PM. First impressions really matter, and this experience just didn’t meet expectations. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I’m giving two stars because the Old Fashioned was excellent — definitely the highlight of the evening.

Just visited this location bc the pictures looked nice, however I was quite underwhelmed with my experience. My server was nice, but they seem understaffed. The bar area was busy & the first place you walk into. I didn't feel that welcomed as I walked through to the restaurant area. The host was nice & had a nice smile. The server wasnt attentive & i don't think he introduced himself.. just said thanks for waiting. They also have automatic gratuity of 20%. I ordered crab cakes, they had a strong fish smell & lacked flavor. It did have a decent amount of crab in it. I ordered the salmon w/ mash potatoes & vegetable medley. The salmon was a pretty large portion. The potatoes were stiff but tasted good. Vegetables were squash & zucchini, peppers/onions. I was hoping for an actual medley of veggies. I had chocolate lava cake for dessert, it was really good.. a scoop of ice cream would've set it off though. Overall okay place. I spent $122 (2 kids meals included). I don't really Reccomend if you're big on flavor. ♡

I really enjoyed my time at the District restaurant! We arrived during lunch hour, and were seated immediately. The lunch selection menu is not as vast as other meals, however the food was quite delicious and brought out quite quickly! The presentation of the food and restaurant were amazing. I highly recommend this place to all, and I look forward to returning here in the future!

I had higher hopes for this swanky plaza-level restaurant beneath the Sheraton’s lobby, but overall the food fell a little flat and the service left something to be desired. The atmosphere is pretty cool, however, with low-lighting, interesting features, and comfortable seating. The service wasn’t bad exactly, but it was a bit spotty. The server was friendly and jovial, but didn’t come around too often after first taking our order. The food itself was cooked well, but the chicken sandwich and quinoa bowl were bowl a bit flavorless. The chicken was juicy and fried well on the sandwich, but had little to no flavor, and the coleslaw didn’t have much flavor either. The star of the show was the cheeseburger, but it wasn’t necessarily anything to write home about. It tasted good, the beef was seasoned, and the toppings were fresh. The prices were reasonable for DTLA and a hotel restaurant, but still a bit high for the delivery. There are better places to spend $25+ per person on a better tasting meal, but I wouldn’t say this place is terrible or anything—it’s a middle-of-the-road spot with OK food, but not much more.
