So glad we made it here on this visit to New Orleans. The restaurant has very attentive staff, informative, friendly. Owner walks around talking to each guest. The gumbo is the best I have ever had!

Amazing service, food and atmosphere<br>Our party was welcomed in during the Saturday rush on our last day in town despite a reservation<br>The service staff, hosts, and chefs were delightful<br>We all enjoyed everything: Crab stuffed shrimp, okra and tomatoes, green beans, collard greens, potatoes, pork chop, shrimp dish w/mushrooms potatoes and peas<br>Oh and the art! Jacob Lawrence, Elizabeth Catlette and so many others

Normally I don’t like leaving reviews but I feel like Oprah, former president Obama went here because this restaurant is an investment, the senior lady is very nice I think she’s the owner it hurts to give this bad feedback….the atmosphere was great, however, my waiter was horrible he took forever. We sat for 20 minutes before getting water; on top of that I was served undercooked bloody chicken. Now when I said something the waiter told me I didn’t try the other pieces, why would I try the rest of the chicken when the first piece was bloody? I still paid $30 for my food for the bland mustard greens, the gumbo which wasn’t all that great, and the drink I had. I had high hopes for this place however me being a person of color being served bloody chicken by another person of color is unacceptable. I will not return. To respect their business I do not plan on suing if I get sick because they are my own race, which is why I’m not going to upload the picture
