I didn't think the room warranted the price paid for it. It was kind of worn. The light above one bed did not work. A comfortable chair to sit in would have been nice. But most surprising was the absence of an included breakfast. They have a small restaurant; although I did not see any waitresses. These days, most hotels at least serve coffee and rolls if not a more complete breakfast. Disappointing. The airport shuttle was nice anyway.

Across from airport, location not the best/not the worst. Beds were comfy and pillows great.... That's where the good things END! Customer Service was medicore, staff couldn't be bothered and unwelcoming. They had the nerve to charge $4!!!!! FOR COFFEE or HOT WATER at reception!!!! I have stayed at MANY MANY Hilton Hotels, and NEVER have I had to pay $4 for what should be complimentary coffee or hot water for tea! Good Hotel chain, but... This location is making Bad business calls....

I would like this matter reviewed by Justin Kohlmeier, General Manager. I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent experiences at DoubleTree by Hilton Providence Airport Warwick. I am a Hilton Honors member and travel frequently. My fiancé and I stay at hotels throughout the year, and we’ve chosen your property multiple times because we’ve generally had positive experiences. Until recently, we’ve never had any issues with the staff—there has even been enough familiarity for my fiancé to check in without me present, which reflects the trust built over time. However, there has been a recurring issue with one front desk receptionist that has made our recent experiences uncomfortable and frustrating. On one occasion, we were granted a late checkout of 1:30 PM by a staff member during a prior shift. When we later went to the front desk to extend our stay, this receptionist told us we would be charged if we did not leave by 12:00 PM. When I explained that we had already been approved for a later checkout, she responded by saying that was “not true” and claimed late checkouts are only given to Hilton members—which I am. More recently, we attempted to make another reservation and called to have my name added. During that call, the same receptionist informed us that we had been placed on a “do not rent” list due to alleged noise and loud music. This claim is completely untrue. We do not play loud music—we typically just watch movies at a normal volume. When we asked for details or any documentation supporting this claim, she refused to provide it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, she stated that she was the manager. However, based on the interaction and lack of professionalism, this was unclear and concerning. When we asked for her full name, she only identified herself as “Monica” and declined to provide a last name. She also refused to provide the full name or contact information for the General Manager and made no effort to assist or escalate the situation. Throughout the call, her tone was dismissive and unprofessional. At one point, she stated she had “better things to do” than continue the conversation. I have an audio recording of the full 8-minute call documenting this interaction. As a result of this situation, we were forced to cancel and obtain a full refund through Priceline and find another hotel on short notice. This was a significant inconvenience, especially having to wait for the refunded funds to be processed. This experience was extremely disappointing. As a loyal customer of Hilton Worldwide, I do not feel valued, and the level of service we received does not reflect the standards I would expect. I would like this matter reviewed by Justin Kohlmeier, General Manager. Additionally, I respectfully request clarification regarding the alleged “do not rent” status, any supporting documentation if applicable, and appropriate action taken to address the conduct described above.

Very spacious king room. Love that there’s hard wood floors and zero carpet in the room. I always feel icky walking in a hotel with carpet in the room. The fridge was a great size, usually hotels offer a little mini fridge but this one was bigger. The layout of the hotel is a little confusing but once you get it it’s easy to get around. Of course love the chocolate chip cookies at check in, they’re always delicious!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. Upon entry, the hotel was beautiful. It felt clean, spacious, it felt somewhat high end. There's a bar and restaurant as well. The room layout was not my favorite but it was OK however the cleanliness could use some improvement. Although finding hair is not a huge deal breaker. I can understand how that can be one for some people. With that being said.... there was a LOT of hair in the bathroom on the floor, counter and towels. We were super tired after a super long day of traveling so it didn't matter but still. If the housekeeping supervisor was doing her/his job well, it wouldn't of been an issue. Breakfast was expensive and mediocre at best. The gas station breakfast next door was hands down the best. The bartender needs some training as she didn't know how to make any of the drinks we requested or even the ones on the menu. Drinks were priced well and tasted good after having to wait a while for her to figure it out. The shuttle driver was a 10/10 and provided wonderful service. The front desk was left unattended many of the times we stopped by for assistance. There's a small sitting area near the front desk where we sat at that was not cleaned at all through our stay. We know this because it was dirty with food on the floor when we got there and the same stuff was on the floor when we left days later. The location of the property is right next to the airport which is what made it a convenient location for us. Would stay here again as there is definitely room for improvement. This location has a lot of potential they just need to know how to manage it well.
