Bartender Abby was so great!! And the biscuit as the base of the Benedict was so delicious and crumbly! Eggs were also cooked perfectly!! Thank you Abby!

I recently visited Eggspectation and noticed that the menu has been updated with several new items, as well as changes to the ingredients in some existing dishes. Unfortunately, one of the dishes I order regularly has been altered, and the change significantly affected the overall flavor. When my meal arrived, it was not hot or even warm, and after taking a few bites I immediately knew something was different. My server was attentive and kindly offered to have the dish remade, but I declined because I generally do not like sending food back and felt that the issue went beyond the temperature. The flavor profile had changed, and something simply seemed off. Later, when the manager stopped by, I asked whether the recipe had been changed. He confirmed that it had and jokingly remarked that I “wasn’t supposed to notice.” As someone who orders this item frequently, I definitely noticed. The ingredient change completely altered the taste of the dish, and in my opinion, the new ingredients do not complement the recipe as well as the original version. I appreciate restaurants updating their menus and introducing new options, but changing the ingredients in long-time favorites can be disappointing, especially when loyal guests have come to expect a certain taste and quality. On a positive note, the wings were excellent and ended up being the highlight of our meal. I hope Eggspectation will consider guest feedback regarding these recipe changes.

Usually a good experience but this last time it took over an hour to get the food. Waiter basically said that the kitchen forgot our order because our salad was out but they didn’t even start on the chicken and waffles. And when my wife got her salad it was soggy. Usually a good time past times we have been but today they missed the mark

The cleanliness of the outside patio did not meet expectations. Gnats everywhere around just our table. Manager had no concern nor apologize or try to fix the problem. Food was excellent but I couldn't enjoy because gnats were all in our drinks and food. I understand I was outside, but there is a difference between outside bugs and a swarm of gnats. The waitress explained the sweet drinks but they were over everything and we were the only table having the problem. So whatever wasn't cleaned properly should have been addressed to keep the gnats away. I'm upset because the food was great. The service was awful and the manager could have cared less about our issue. He was expressionless and walked away without a care or expression of empathy to our situation! I also had a hair in my food and when they fixed my food a dead gnat was on my plate and in my potatoes.

The food and service was great! Had Huevos Rancheros with potatoes. Tried a sample of the eggs bene and the orange juice flavored pancakes...🙌🏾🙌🏾 Took off one star because the spicy Marg was not spicy. Overall, we'll be back!!
