We arrived a few minutes early, checked in and grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. Once seated, Arif and Julia greeted us and welcomed us to the restaurant. They asked us if we were celebrating anything, we said we were celebrating a recent college graduation. We saw so many items on the menu that looked good, we had a hard time deciding. We went with the parker rolls, two sashimi apps and of course the oysters. All were amazing. For our main we split the bone in filet with the tableside bone marrow (so fun) We also did the lobster mac and the mushroom...all were delicious. My daughter got the dirty martini, the presentation was so fun and made it to her insta story. When it was time for desert, they brought out a complementary mango martini with the Alabama A with a grad hat on top. Such a fun detail, they also treated us to desert. After dinner, we went to "room 7" for one more drink before heading home. They had a live DJ, it was fun. We loved all the personal attention and felt like they went above and beyond in every way. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Next time we are in Dallas we are for sure coming back.

My wife and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary at Evelyn, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and truly went out of their way to make the night feel special and intimate. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. Swanky, romantic, and upscale without feeling pretentious. The lighting, music, and overall vibe created the perfect setting for a meaningful night out together. Food-wise, everything was exceptional. We both ordered the filet mignon, and it was easily one of the best steaks we’ve had in Dallas. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were also incredibly well crafted and complemented the meal perfectly. What stood out most was how intentional the experience felt from beginning to end. Evelyn didn’t just serve us dinner, they helped create a memorable anniversary for us. Highly recommend for date nights, anniversaries, or anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in Dallas.

I came here for a birthday dinner and honestly the experience while we were there was really good, which is why this review is disappointing to leave. Kristian was our server and he did a great job throughout the night. The restaurant also did thoughtful birthday touches like putting her name on cards/menus and even decorating the birthday drink, which made the dinner feel special. The atmosphere, lighting, and overall vibe were beautiful. I spent about $251 on dinner and left a $50 tip because I genuinely enjoyed the experience while I was there. Looking back at the receipt, we ordered the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites, Chicken Rigatoni alla Vodka, Boneless Prime Ribeye, Pearls of Pearls, Lobster Mac N Cheese, whipped potatoes, dessert, and drinks. The problem is that after dinner, we went home, and in the middle of the night I literally woke up out of my sleep violently throwing up. It was horrible. The next day I still felt sick and off. At first I didn’t want to immediately blame the restaurant, but after seeing other reviews describing similar experiences after eating here, it definitely made me question things more. It honestly sucks because I actually liked the place, liked the service, and wanted this to be a great birthday memory. But waking up sick all night after spending over $300 total with tip completely changed the experience for me.

Celebrated my birthday and a girls' night out here and was super impressed. The food is quite pricey for the portions, specifically some of the appetizers/sides, but the entrees and salads were a good amount - but all very delicious. I would be back in a heartbeat regardless of the price. The ambiance/environment, service is just spectacular to say the least. You have to take a walk around the place to see the different views and of course take all the pictures you can, especially the women's bathroom where there is champagne service during a certain time. The only reason why I'm not giving the food 5 stars is because I tried the Chocolate Decadence cake ($17) and in my opinion, it was extremely dry. I enjoyed the Toffee Cake ($17) WAY more. I was given the Samoa Sundae ($16) complimentary for my birthday. The deserts were shared for the table. One more thing I found odd, was a "birthday shot" was itemized on my receipt - for free of course, but I personally never received it or was told about it from my server. These are all minor details and I would 100% go back. For reference I spent about $250 including tip just for me.

I celebrated my birthday at Evelyn and it was such a beautiful experience! The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning — the decor and ambiance make it perfect for special occasions and photos. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and gives such an elegant, yet welcoming vibe. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and the overall experience felt elevated without being pretentious. The atmosphere made the celebration feel extra special. If you’re looking for a gorgeous brunch or dinner spot in Dallas for a birthday or special occasion, I definitely recommend Evelyn. I would happily go back again!
