What a great find! In town for a show, treating new friends to an experience. It's hard to select a dining option for a couple your just getting to know. Fat Cats was perfect for dining, conversation, and drinks. I ordered a Quinoa Bowl and had a cocktail. Others chose the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Crab Melt. Nothing was ordinary, everything was spectacular. We all left satisfied and not too full, ready for the show. We will definitely visit again to sample more of the menu. Thanks for the great experience.

This place was so so good!! It’s located in a cute little spot in Tremont, and I loved the atmosphere inside. The food was incredible, and we had a really helpful server who helped us order a few things to try! All the food was delicious. The kimchi potatoes had so much flavor, and a nice bit of spice to it. The bahn bao were so light and savory, and the arroz caldo was comforting, and had a ton of different flavors that went so well together. Must visit in the Tremont area!

Abby and Amara were amazing—super attentive and gave great drink recommendations. The ubie cocktail was floral with a nice citrusy balance, really unique. We started with the octopus and braised mushrooms—the mushrooms were a huge hit and a must-order. For brunch, we had the crab melt, Korean fried rice, and ham hash. My partner loved the ham hash, and the crab melt (my go-to) was perfect, especially with the sweet potato fries and garlic aioli. Amara made an incredible espresso martini, and we finished with the lavender crème brûlée and coffee. Everything was on point—highly recommend!

Fat Cats is a really suprising restaurant. It's menu is a fusion of American and Asian flavors. Which is really exciting to find in Cleveland. This place was featured on diners drive ins and dives. In the episode Guy tried the Arroz Caldo which is probably the standout dish at this place. It's a savory rice porridge and it's phenomenal. I'd suggest it with the chicken the more natural chicken allows the spices of the dishes to become more prominent. But don't be fooled all the food here is good. The dumplings here are also amazing. With an excellent vegtable filling. The Banh Báo is also very good as well the Báo bun where really pillow like in texture. The biggest issue is have with this place is that there is no physical menu. You are given a QR code to scan and are taken to the fat cats website. It requires you to have your smart phone out. It also requires everyone to know how to use a smart phone. This placedoes have a parking lot but it is super tiny and you will not likely get a spot in it. There is street parking all around though. This place does tend to get busy so do not be surprised by a wait. But it is worth it.

This place is pure magic. From the second you walk in, the vibe just HITS Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Every single bite felt intentional and creative. Nothing was boring. Nothing was ordinary. And the drinks were SO good. It’s rare to find a place that nails atmosphere, flavor, and service all at once, but they absolutely did. We’ll be telling everyone about this spot and already can’t wait to go back and order half the menu again. Obsessed is an understatement.
