Surprisingly laid back restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks. The pricing is very fair for a downtown location close to the convention center. Service was great, helpful, fast, and nice. I really enjoyed my buffalo chicken salad, it was a great version of one. The brussels sprouts side was also fantastic. I told the TX Old Fashioned with the pecan and loved it. Thanks for a great meal!

We visited Federal American Grill for dinner during social hour and had a really good experience overall. The service was excellent from the start. We were seated quickly at the bar, and our bartender was attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. The social hour menu is a great value—appetizers were around $10, which made it easy to try multiple items. We ordered: Cheeseburger egg rolls (a bit overcooked visually, but still flavorful) Cheeseburger sliders (simple but enjoyable) Meatballs over mashed potatoes (this was a standout—very filling and well done) Bang bang shrimp (another highlight—great flavor and presentation) The drinks were also well made and consistent. The overall vibe is more upscale casual and relaxed, which worked perfectly for us. Not overly fancy, but still a nice environment. Overall, a great experience with good food, strong service, and excellent value during social hour.

First time here, my server was Jorge. My wife and I ordered the cheeseburger egg rolls, and also the chicken sliders, for our main course we ordered the blackened chicken alfredo, and also the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a couple of drinks. The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was do you think, just a little bland. Had to add quite a bit of salt and pepper

Visited for the first time with a group of coworkers. Amazing variety of appetizers and the food was delicious. Beautifully decorated restaurant and bar area. Friendly staff and great service. I went back the next day and had the grilled salmon for lunch, it was delicious with the mushroom risotto and broccoli. I look forward to visiting often for lunch!
