If you’re in New Orleans and looking for the best oysters in town, this is the place to go! Fresh, delicious, and absolutely worth the visit. And don’t forget to ask for CoB — she is amazing! Her service, recommendations, and friendly attitude made the experience even better. Enjoy!

Food was amazing and delicious. We finished everything under 15 minutes. Highly recommend gumbo. It was hearty, had amazing flavors and didn't feel heavy. Charbroiled was great too, perfectly cook and didn't feel tough. jambalaya was a little bit too salty for my preference. Our server, Justin, was friendly and attentive, felt very welcoming.

Turtle soup was fantastic and so delicious! The Seafood Gumbo soup was very flavorful. The oysters were very satisfying and my BLT salad with the blackened chicken was worth every bite! Beer was a treat with the food. The best part was our waitress “Fee” she was very attentive, extra kind, knowledgeable and very helpful with explaining questions we ask. She is amazing!! ~Leilani Corbin, VA

This place was pretty good for being on Bourbon! We had a group of 12 people and were served swiftly. My French dip sandwich was good, just nothing spectacular, which it is a seafood restaurant so that’s to be expected. The oysters stole the show. Everyone at the table raved about the chargrilled oyster. The gator was salty but had good texture. I wouldn’t come back due to the crazy amount of restaurants in the area but I would recommend to others. Solid choice!

With so many standout seafood spots in New Orleans, Felix’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar ended up being a mixed experience. The combo grilled oysters lacked consistency — some overcooked, others undercooked — and the overall seasoning didn’t stand out compared to other oyster houses in the city. The seafood gumbo was surprisingly mild and noticeably light on seafood, with okra being the dominant flavor. The crawfish étouffée had an unusually doughy texture and contained very little crawfish, which was disappointing. That said, the pickle chips were excellent — perfectly crisp and well-seasoned. The jambalaya and red beans and rice were also well executed and delivered the depth of flavor I was hoping for. Service from Heaven was warm, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. The dirty martini was good. I
