This is a fantastic family-friendly destination with sweeping waterfront views. We just had our second visit to Fog Harbor Fish House at Pier 39, and it did not disappoint. The sweeping views while you eat make the experience so special. If you are a fan of rich and flavorful soups, the Clam chowder is a must-try. We paired our meal with the Cali Squeeze Blood Orange beer, which is incredibly crisp and refreshing. And we can never get enough of their warm, fresh bread and butter—yum! Plus great share for our family is the calamari. For dinner, the seafood pasta was a great mixture for different tastes, and my husband’s absolute favorite is their Surf and Turf. Highly recommend checking them out on your next trip to the wharf!

Red Lobster 2.0 but honestly it was not that bad. Made a reservation, came a little early but that didn't stop them from seating me exactly on reserved time. I ordered the calamari as the app, it was good some was chewy as others were soft. I wish it had a little salsa as a dipping option instead of Ranch. I ordered the mix seafood grill, the food quality looked and tasted clean but i wish it had more seasoning to it. The flavor was a little bland but it did give me a red lobster vibe. Service was good but he did take my appetizer without asking if i was finished. I didn't fight it but it is what it is. I ate most but had leftovers that i could of used as to-go. The dessert I had the fudge cake, and that tasted really bitter. I ordered a side of vanilla ice cream and that didnt save the cake from disaster. Overall i would give this place a 6/10.

This was a great place to eat while on our vacation. The location was awesome, right on Pier 39! We got a seat with a perfect view of the ocean. The seafood was fantastic, I got the lobster roll and it was amazing. My wife got the grilled chicken and it was just as good. Unfortunately the only issue was the wait time. The wait was nearly an hour even though they told us it would only be 30 minutes. That was forgiven as soon as we got the amazing meal. I would definitely come back to this beautiful place for the tasty fresh fish!

I must admit, when visiting Pier 39, I thought all the restaurants would be “commercial” and “touristy”, Fog Harbor was an outstanding exception to my own rule!! What an incredible restaurant and dining experience! I cannot recommend this place enough! To start, we were greeted by the most beautiful trio of hosts! So delightful! We had a lovely table by the window with a perfect view of the seals at sunset! Our servers, Jeremy and Luis were kind and attentive to our needs! The Food… OMG!! Where to begin! Every single bite was phenomenal! The crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the crab and scallop risotto, it was creamy and delicious, the sweet crabmeat and delicate scallops were simply divine! My husband enjoyed his fish and chips, the fish was crispy and perfectly cooked! If you are visiting the Bay Area and want an overall incredible dining experience, you must try Fog Harbor!

Fog Harbor Fish House was absolutely amazing! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the view or the harbor and ocean with the sunset is incredible it makes the whole dining experience feel really special. The food was fantastic. The oysters were perfect! super fresh and full of flavor. Everything we had was delicious and you can really tell they care about quality. Our waiter, Andres, made the experience even better. He was excellent, professional, friendly, quick, and totally on point the whole time. He made sure everything was perfect and we felt really well taken care of even offered to take our pictures! If you’re looking for great seafood with an incredible view and top-notch service, I highly recommend Fog Harbor Fish House. I’ll definitely be coming Back next time im in SF!
