Hotel is extremely dated and not exactly in a charming way. Rooms are very old and the AC has clearly not been updated as the room got hot at night. A floor fan was provided to counteract this. Bathroom space was a bit crammed and shower was not the best. Staff were great and location was close to downtown restaurants and bars.

Worst hotel stay I’ve had in years. As a Hilton Diamond member, this experience was shockingly bad from start to finish. The property is in an extremely poor state of condition and clearly has not been properly maintained for years. Paint is peeling and cracking throughout, fixtures are failing, and even basic room functionality was unacceptable — the water in the room wouldn’t properly switch off. Housekeeping was poor and inconsistent, including failure to replenish basic amenities like bottled water. What was even more concerning was hearing multiple staff members openly complain about management, mentioning that since the management takeover in 2019, the property has apparently never been properly renovated and issues have only continued to worsen. That says a lot. Service was equally disappointing. Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. There was no valet service, the bell desk was inconsistently staffed or unavailable, and there was absolutely zero recognition of Hilton Diamond status or any attempt to provide the level of service expected from the brand. I also made attempts to escalate concerns directly to General Manager Cory Kramer, who did not respond to calls or emails at all. From the physical condition of the hotel to the service standards to management accountability, every aspect of this stay was deeply disappointing. This property falls far below what anyone should expect from Hilton, let alone loyal elite members. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Wonderful location. Discount on parking from 45 to 35 with hotel scan tag. They will charge parking to the room. Easier when leaving the garage. ** AC system is seasonal fyi** the reason is due to it being a historical building. So if you like a cooler room, it may be best to think of another spot. No room service and it's instant coffee available in the rooms. Ice machines aren't on each floor and there aren't vending machines. The bedding and furniture are lovely and won't have any issues trying to sleep at the end of the day. Wonderful pillows and bedding. They do have a fan in room for a extra breeze.

We stayed for 2 nights this past weekend and really enjoyed the hotel. It has a fun vibe and charm about it. The rooms were clean, the beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had a hotel, there’s a game room downstairs that had some great food and games. And also a coffee shop attached to it. The only issue we had all weekend was the elevators. When we arrived one out of the 4 wasn’t working. By the end of the stay 3/4 were out of order. So the whole hotel was sharing one elevator. Despite the elevator issues, we will definitely consider coming back! Cute place!

This hotel does not disappoint providing a wonderful aesthetic and amazing historic atmosphere. However, there are problems with the building, which are understandable due to the age of the hotel. We checked in and the heat was not working in our room. We were moved and upgraded to a suite with no problem- it seemed to be the only warm place in the hotel. However, the rest of our stay was one little inconvenience after another and the staff was not very understanding. Outlets not working, heat in the fitness center not working and many machines out of order, iffy water temperature and pressure, filthy air vents, etc. The aesthetic of this hotel definitely comes at the cost of comfort and some basic expectations.
