Nothing fancy about the room but very clean hotel. The staff There was very helpful. The hotel has direct access to the Metro. Was a great stay. Only con ...no pool. I saw several pictures online of a pool but it doesn't exist. Also the waterfall and floating piano have also been removed (those pictures are from long ago).

Great location for sightseeing. We got a king room with club access, on the 12th floor. Did only use the club access once for breakfast. No complaints, but for information the wine and beer cost extra there but water and soda free. The room did face into the lobby so no window to outside witch is not ideal. But our only big issue with the room was air conditioning it was so loud, if it was on it kept us awake and if we turned it off or lowered the fan it as too cold.

Really nice hotel in the heart of Washington DC. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and well laid out with space to work if required. The hotel is close to many of the tourist attractions, Fords Theatre is just down the road and a short walk to he White House, Lincoln Memorial etc. Despite it's central location there was very little traffic noise so a good night's sleep every night (even with jet lag).

Great location beautiful and clean hotel with a grand atrium lobby. Lots of nice shops and a Starbucks, with multiple entrances and exits for the hotel as well. the rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were large with a walk in shower stall with big sliding glass doors and a adjustable shower rain head and wand. The beds were nice and comfortable, as were the pillows with a desk and a nice lounge chair with an ottoman. Very comfortable for watching tv and an extended stay. looking forward to next years stay already. Room service and a new restraunt bar is being constructed in the main lobby.

We recently stayed here with our two young kids, and unfortunately, the experience was frustrating. At check-in, we were asked when we wanted our room cleaned (morning or afternoon). This was an odd question considering our room was never touched even after asking the front desk multiple times over several days. We finally got it cleaned only by flagging down a housekeeper in the hallway (who was wonderful and significantly more helpful than the front desk). Additionally, the hotel promotes a daily food and drink credit for their 'convenient' grab-and-go section. This is incredibly misleading. Most days, the section had nothing available or on a few days had only soda. When we asked the front desk they told us since they have nothing available it is only possible to use the credit at the restaurant. Which makes sense for the hotel to force this because they would benefit by having a family of 4 paying to eat there with only a $15 credit. We thought a reasonable question was if we could use the credit next day because they ran out of everything. They quickly dismissed this as if it was impossible to consider such a request. Frankly they should just raise the room rate by $15 a day instead of offering the illusion of a perk they don't even stock items for. So location was fine, rooms were fine but not quite the level of service you would expect...
