This was a last minute booking for my family and I before our cruise tomorrow. We were going to stay at another motel that didn't look or feel safe at all. Once we got to Hampton we felt alot safer. The staff was warm and welcoming and actually spoke English unlike the other motel. From now on we will definitely be booking with Hampton for or vacation stays.

I was sitting in the lobby just talking to my girlfriend and around 10:20 pm 2/27 some random guy starting getting mad at the desk person out of no where and the guy honestly handled it very well. I was impressed with his patience and responses he gave while being talked to in such a demeaning way. Also nice pool area and a gas station right in the parking lot. It was closed at the time but amazing placement for vacationing activities when I come back.

My husband and I booked this and prepaid in advance. Upon arrival, the place seemed nice inside. At check in, we were not told that they oversold the king rooms. When we got to the room, it was two queens. My husband and I were traveling to celebrate a special event and would have liked the room we booked. I went to the front desk to let them know they gave us the wrong room and they said they knew and had oversold, but didn't let us know in advance. I asked for the manager to call me when they got back on duty at 9am the following day and never heard back. I would have liked some sort of compensation. As for the room, everything was fine but the room we were placed in smelled like dirty feet. I'm not sure if it was the carpet or what. The bed sheets smelled clean so I'm not sure where it came from. The pool was also not heated, not sure if it was supposed to be. There was also a large black bug and a giant wad of hair in it. It had good reviews which is why we chose it, but the experience was not great in my opinion.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and had a good experience overall. The service was great especially from a staff member named Natarsha. Breakfast and free parking are provided and the parking lot is spacious, usually not full. The rooms i stay are clean and the location is convenient if you have a car, with Canton nearby. However, there got no any walkable shops in the immediate area.

I am hoping this does not land on deaf ears. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the treatment my son received at your Hampton Inn Bayview Campus location on November 10, 2025. My son is an active-duty member of the United States Marine Corps, currently stationed at Twentynine Palms, California. He was traveling to Baltimore, Maryland, for a work-related assignment and made his hotel reservation through Booking.com one week in advance. His reservation clearly stated his age of 19 years. Upon arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m., he presented his official military CAC card for identification. The front desk attendant, an African American woman, informed him that his military-issued ID was not a valid form of identification. He then provided his state-issued ID, at which point she refused to honor his reservation solely based on his age. My son was in Baltimore for official business — not for leisure or personal reasons. It is extremely disappointing that a young man who serves and defends our country was denied basic accommodation, especially when he is trusted to carry the responsibility of protecting our freedoms. As a result, he was forced to secure another hotel and pay for additional transportation at his own expense. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately. No active-duty service member should be treated with such disregard. I look forward to your response and a resolution to this issue.
