I had an excellent experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Providence/Smithfield, and I especially want to recognize Luis for his outstanding customer service. From the moment I needed assistance, Luis went above and beyond to help me. He kindly helped me print important documents, promptly provided extra towels and a hairdryer, and did so with a positive attitude and genuine professionalism. What stood out most was how respectful, welcoming, and hardworking he was throughout my stay. Employees like Luis make a huge difference in a guest's experience and are a true asset to the Hampton Inn team. His dedication to helping guests feel comfortable and valued did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Luis, for your exceptional service and hospitality. Hampton Inn & Suites is fortunate to have such an amazing employee, and he deserves great recognition for all of his hard work. I highly recommend this hotel and hope Luis receives the appreciation he truly deserves!

Horrible experience. The hotel was understaffed. Water being shut off for a long time in the morning without a heads up from the staff. Never giving us enough towels and never have us a bathmat towel for the floor. Was told to just throw the old towels out in the hallway. The TV was stuck in demo mode. Staff had no idea what I was talking about when all that was needed was to reset the tv signal(unplugging it did not work. A stain in the middle of the carpet of our room. The breakfast table was horrible and the waffle batter was all over the place and was not cleaned up. This is a hilton owned hotel and it is embarrassing

Room was nice and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Really good location with lots of food options around. Staff was friendly. Everything look relatively refreshed and renovated, though the floors themselves were a bit old so you could hear heavy footfalls from upstairs. Otherwise zero complaints.

The manager, front desk staff, and breakfast help were all helpful and pleasant. The room (second floor) was extremely quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offerings were great as well and they had tea and coffee available throughout the day and night.

Upon arrival the person at the front desk was pleasant and polite. I went up to my level and immediately after getting out of the elevator there was a pile of trash in the hallway. Walking down the hallway to my room the hallways were freezing. I got into my room walked in and the first thing I noticed was the ceiling was falling apart in an area. I went to go get ice in the ice and vending machine room and there's no vending machine at all. My room was a king size bed. The king size bed did not have king size pillows. Plus the pillows were horrible. Picture a marshmallow but cut it paper thin, that's your pillow. Horrible night sleep. I went to the front desk at 5am to ask for a different pillow and was told there were none. At least the showers were warm and had good pressure. I went down to the Continental breakfast and after seeing the minimal selection I just left instead of eating anything. I won't be back. Ever!
