Chicken is crispy, seasoned to the bone, and usually fresh. Fries are fresh & seasoned. Greens have flavor and coleslaw slaw is not dry but has a nice crunch and enough dressing. Mac N Cheese is my least favorite side the flavor just wasn't there. Overall, yummy food and consistently fresh food. Parking is limited but there is space to sit outside or inside.

I can eat anything hot from anywhere, but Hattie Bs in the only place with chicken that’s not only delicious, but makes me sweat. Recently I drove up from Little Rock. I had a slight issue with my order and the management team was quick to respond online. I went back the next day as I love this place so much while I was in town before they even responded to correct the issue and I had no issues so I don’t hold the little thing that was wrong against them and in fact I would say I love them more for their great customer service. They definitely care about their food and their customers. I first tried Hattie Bs while I was in Nashville and when I found out there was one in Memphis it’s the first place I go when I make a trip there. It’s my favorite place to eat and my recommendation is definitely try the Mac n cheese! I’ve had everything here just about and you can’t go wrong with any of it. They also have a great app that’s easy to order from. I always prefer to order my food before I arrive so this is a huge bonus for me! Just got time to come back to my favorite place to eat! Was amazing as usual. Here’s an updated picture from 02APR2026 Updating again 08APR26 to say food was amazing as always, Tasha is awesome and friendly. Love her attitude and she was working hard the whole time I was in there! The only thing that’s disappointing is I won’t have time to visit TN for a while to get more! 100/10 as always for my favorite place to eat! If you are thinking about it just do it! WOW this place is awesome and I would eat here daily if I could! The quality and service is beyond amazing. Perhaps on my trip to NC in a week or two I will bring the family back by if they are open when we pass through. Love you guys! Update 26APR2026! My wife and I stopped by and as usual, HBs Memphis is always on point with the best food in Memphis! If you haven’t stopped here yet, you are making a huge mistake! Just do it! Tried the banana pudding today and ohhh man… first of all, how many places have banana pudding?! Sorry mama, this is some good stuff!

Stopped in to lunch with my daughter. The service was good other than having only one person taking orders. The food was very good, I had the 3 wing (plain), baked beans and slaw. Atmosphere is good but I would recommend turning the music down a bit.

Today, we visited Hattie B’s Hot Chicken in Memphis, and we were not disappointed. From placing our order to the moment our food hit the table, everything was smooth, fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered the ½ chicken, which included a connected breast/wing and a thigh/leg, all served over a soft slice of bread with a pickle on top. My side was the seasoned fries—hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken itself was crunchy, flavorful, and impressively free of grease. We also tried the Jumbo Wing Platter, which comes with three large wings and fries for $11.50, while my ½ chicken plate was $14.50. Both meals were fried to order, fresh, and piping hot—exactly what you want from a hot chicken spot. We’ve visited several other well-known places, but Hattie B’s stands at the top by a wide margin. Even a customer ahead of us commented on how well-prepared the sides were. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back. 👍🏾🔥

Ordered the mild chicken tenders, fantastic taste and great spice level for someone who’s not able to handle too much. The fries came out hot and tasty as well. Very clean inside and the service was great. It even has a section of outdoor seating and a bean bag toss. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in Memphis, well done Hattie B’s!
