This hotel was disappointing and not up to the Hilton standard I expected. The room felt worn and poorly maintained. The wallpaper was peeling in several places, and the carpet was dirty, stained, and dingy. The alarm clock was also broken, with the alarm-setting button broken off, so it could not be used. The location is convenient, but the room condition made the stay feel cheap and neglected. This property needs better cleaning and maintenance.

The room was very clean, I was able to use the fitness center as well. The staff was very helpful in helping us out in finding the parking lot. It was easy to get around the area. Just had some minor issues. I prefer to have my room colder, the temperature was not able to go down below 65°, there was no included free breakfast, and the hot water for the sink was loose.

The location of this hotel is perfect for visitors and tourists, with its proximity to the harbor and tons of restaurants and shopping. Our room definitely needed some repairs, though. For the price of the room, I don't feel like we got the value I'd expect. The lampshade and bed skirt were ripped, the carpet was stained, and the fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed (it seemed like it was a bit too small). There were no water bottles provided as amenities and the sink faucet was crusted with hard water deposits. Also, coffee wasn't available at 730am in the lobby.

Stayed: March 2026 I’m leaving this as a caveat emptor for future guests, not a grievance. The Hilton Garden Inn Inner Harbor is part of a split property with Homewood Suites, and navigating it is confusing. There’s very little signage, and the elevator visible from the lobby doesn’t even serve the Garden Inn side. Expect to wander. The room I booked well in advance — a king bed for a birthday weekend — wasn’t available at check‑in. I was given a room with two small double beds instead. The room itself was humid, outdated, and not clean. For a property at this price point, that was disappointing. Parking is an additional $25, and the garage layout adds to the overall maze‑like feel of the property. Staff did offer free breakfast as a make‑good, which I appreciated, but we already had plans at Miss Shirley’s, so it wasn’t something we could use. Ultimately, we checked out and moved to another hotel nearby. I’m a Hilton Honors member and generally have good experiences with the brand, but this location didn’t meet expectations. If you’re considering staying here, just be aware of the layout, parking fees, and room‑assignment inconsistencies. Update: The response below directs guests to a support link that only offers a phone‑only option, which would require re‑explaining everything from scratch. Since there’s no written follow‑up channel, I’m leaving the full details here for future travelers.

Booked my stay for a last minute trip and wanted something close to the harbor. The Hilton Garden Inn is located by several high end retailers and within walking distance of so many other shops, restaurants and tourist spots, like the aquarium. They have an on-site restaurant open for breakfast and dinner, a little shop for snacks and drinks that open 24/7 as well. There is a parking garage behind the hotel that is accessible via elevator which is convenient though it is paid parking, much like most of Baltimore is these days. The staff was very pleasant and helpful when I checked in.
