Zero stars. Avoid avoid avoid! There is a reason this hotel has more bad reviews than ive ever seen! AVOID! LOUD DRILLING and JACKHAMMERING 8am to 5pm everyday INCLUDING weekends. you could feel the hammering and drilling from lobby to the highest floor of the building. Hotel does not disclose the level of this construction before checkin and make it seem like a small construction, it is not small, they were jackhammering all day. You could feel the entire room shaking all day. See attached videos, i cannot believe this hotel is even open and charging customers during this type of construction. Front desk will give you the runaround and avoid letting you speak with a manager. Manager blamed me for not asking to check out I had to leave early because imagine waking up at 8am on a sunday to jackhammering below your room, on a weekend! Assistant general manager refused refund and stated i should have checked out. What a absolute mess of a hotel They should not be selling room here unless construction is clearly disclosed (which it is not). Everyone staying here need to request a refund from hilton honors, which i did. This hotel is a zero, never experienced this any hotel in the world. Worst hotel in hilton chain! Avoid!

this could be a providence city or hilton thing as a whole, and i knew this driving in based on reviews, but it's interesting to see it's 32$ a day to park here. and then water bottles in the room are 2-3$, but "free" for the first two bottles if you're an upgraded member of the hilton membership. and that renovations are undergoing, while their gym is shut down. some of us had pillows with barely anything in them, leading to neck pain. "smart tv" that has features that seemed to be rolled out in the early smart tv era, with nothing actually smart about them in modern times. elevator had cardboard taped around it. there's a fee for "premium" wifi which i never saw another hotel/airbnb do. i can excuse the renovation process, but this was objectively one of the worst hotels i've been to. it was enough to get by, so two stars. just wouldn't recommend a stay here, particularly as our friend stayed at the marriot about a ten minute walk and that as a whole had a significantly better appearance, lobby wise, although rooms seemed more or less the same. the good: air conditioning/heating seemed responsive. bathrooms and rooms were otherwise fine. staff kind and responsive.

This was the worst hotel and customer service experience I have ever had. My wallet was stolen with my cards, ID, and insurance. When I raised my issue to 5 separate staff members, they expressed no concern and were incredibly unhelpful. Their communication across departments was absolutely horrendous. I was given different information about the status of my request from day to day. Any time I wanted progress or an update, I had to visit the front desk myself and ask. They told me on 5 separate occasions that they would call me with an update at a certain time. I NEVER received a single call from them. On top of this, I received no compensation for my stolen wallet, no discount on my stay, etc. They also said they have “never received a complaint in 10 years”, but I overheard at least 5 separate guests complain during my stay. In addition to this, they advertised a pool as well as free breakfast, and offered neither. Out of 3 elevators, only one was working, and it frequently broke down. There was no ventilation in our room. Please save yourself from staying in this hotel and book The Graduate instead.

While the staff was nice and accommodating, and the restaurant onsite was nice and convenient, this hotel is under major construction. Two of the elevators did not work during our stay and the morning of checkout, the last one broke. We had to take everything from the room down the stairs. The rooms smells like fishy/harbor water, mostly the bathroom. The shower handle was very hard to turn and when the shower was turned on, all the pipes in the wall moved. I wish I had known about the construction status of the hotel when booking and I would have made other arrangements. Convenient location to the convention center and shopping center.

I enjoyed my stay during the recent blizzard. The front desk staff were courteous and professional, and my room was clean. I do wish the gym was open but it was being renovated. One particularly memorable experience was dining at The Vig. I visited during a peak rush period, as many guests were unable to leave due to the storm. Even under these challenging circumstances, Tyler and Patty provided exceptional service. I would also like to recognize Jayquan from the maintenance team, who stepped in to assist during the rush. His willingness to support the restaurant staff demonstrated teamwork and dedication. I will absolutely book this hotel again in the future!
