Lots of fun. A little at home one day vacation with the kids. We had a blast. The pool was great. The breakfast was good and the staff was kind. Aleijah was very helpful at check in even though she was handling a bunch of things at once. Every hotel should have an Aleija. Thankyou for the fun and the yummy breakfast. We will be back again for our new family holiday that we will call "hotel day".

I travel a lot for business and I am in outside sales, so I notice when I encounter fellow professionals in the field. Nancy greeted me and I could tell she was genuinely happy to see me. She told me of all the amenities the hotel had to offer. She is a credit to Hilton's team and people like her are why I continue to remain a Hilton customer. The room was exactly as I expected, I prefer Home2 Suites for what they have to offer to business travelers. Thank you Nancy, you made me feel so very welcome!

Pros: Friendly staff, free apples, clean bed (i.e., no bedbugs as far as we noticed). Cons: - Apart from the bed, the room was pretty dirty when we arrived (i.e., mold on the shower frame; food stains on the microwave; residual dirt on the kitchen sink counter). - When we initially signed in to the (unsecured) wifi, it was unclear whether the internet was free or whether it required that we sign up for a HHonors account. Eventually after clicking through the wifi web prompts, it was revealed that we could access basic internet for 7 days free without needing to create an account, but this could have been clearer. Overall, an OK hotel that served the purpose we needed it for (and I LOVED the staff), but the cleanliness and wifi access could use a boost.

This was a really comfortable stay. The room felt clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, which made it easy to settle in and relax. Everything felt simple, functional, and easy to use, which matters when you’re traveling. The staff was friendly, calm, and welcoming, and the overall environment felt quiet and well maintained. It felt safe, predictable, and easy to navigate, which makes a big difference when you’re away from home. It’s a great option if you value comfort, clarity, and a low-stress hotel experience.

We just finished up our 5 night stay and Home2 Suites in Smithfield is going to be our go to from here on out when we visit. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities including a dishwasher and full sized fridge, the biggest reason we chose this hotel. They also left us a welcome bag with water and snacks. Only issue we had was the bathroom door being almost impossible to close and open, it was a pocket door but we mostly left it open because of how difficult it was to move. The gym was beyond our expectations and had the laundry room attached which was super convenient. We didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. Breakfast was kind of hit or miss but to be expected with a hotel stay. Nothing a trip to Coffee Connection down the road couldn’t fix. Overall, a great value for what you get. Thanks for a nice stay!
