We have two kids so finding a hotel that has a separate bedroom and a pull out couch is ideal for us. We've stayed at other locations with similar layouts and were hopeful and excited when we found this one. While the location is absolutely perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to do and explore, the room itself did not suffice. I immediately felt dirty walking into the room and seeing the carpet and furniture. Everything felt grimey and I was constantly telling my kids to stay off of the floor and furniture. The kids had to sleep on the pull out which was missing springs, had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned as we found food under the mattress, and the mattress itself had to have been 20+ years old. I felt so bad my kids had to sleep on it because I could feel every spring. It's definitely outdated and in need of a complete remodeling. A deep clean wouldn't do anything for that space. While the location was great, I'd gladly pay more for another hotel even if it didn't have a separate bedroom.

I stayed here for 4 nights on the 10th floor and enjoyed peace and quiet. Lovely view of President Street, sufficient breakfast, always available coffee, friendly staff. As Hilton’s gold member, I do agree with other reviewers that carpeting and a few amenities must be remodeled. But overall the King Nonsmoking Suite was pretty decent for the price I paid. The hotel’s location is top notch, with easy walking access to the Marina and Fells Point for lots of eateries and shopping. Also another 40 minutes and you’re in Annapolis.

After reading some negative reviews prior to my stay, I was feeling very anxious. I am happy to report that we had no issues with any of the 4 rooms that I reserved for my wife and me and other family attending our daughter's wedding. Sure the building was a bit older than the other hotels in the area, but it was clean, had everything we needed, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I use to be a diamond member but I don’t travel as much anymore in the last 2 years. I say because I been an Hilton member for a while and this is by far the worst Hilton hotel I stayed in. Maybe it’s a Homewood suite thing because the bad experiences I have had, always been at this kind of Hilton hotel. Now the staff they were pleasant. One gentleman even helped us with our bags and brought them to our room. The front desk staff were nice as well. At breakfast the staff there were helpful and kept the area clean. For the amount of money you pay I think a clean room is not to much of and ask. My hotel room is in dire need of a deep clean or upgrade furniture. I forgot to get pictures of the bathroom but it needed updating as well.

Stained carpets, worn out and stained furniture, peeling wallpaper, I would not recommend staying here! Our first room had broken furniture (armchair), missing furniture (dining chairs, a couch), stove not working well, and so much more was so very wrong. I got moved, but the staff member was rude, laughing at me and asking why I needed a kitchen on a one night stay. I have celiac, an ADA recognized disability and I NEED a working kitchen. The 2nd room was also worn out and tired, with montrous stains on the couch and chair, I draped blankets from the car to sit down in the room! The kitchen floor was still peeling up, but my stove worked. It was just barely a step above the other room. I had no dish soap and dishwasher tabs, I was told by a staff member downstairs (after calling down and waiting 90 minutes!), that I would just need to wait till housekeeping was finished cleaning (it was almost 5pm). It was a very rude and abrupt answer and I just left for CVS to get what I needed. Housekeeping never showed up. The security was good. The parking garage was reasonably priced and easy to access. The lobby is clean and beautiful, but it hides shabby, rundown, tired, sad hotel rooms. Im a Hilton Gold member and this was not the Hilton standard I know and appreciate. Take your business elsewhere.
