Ordered the Fried chicken and French toast, and it was mediocre… Plate was coated with powdered sugar, almost unedible. My husband ordered a shrimp Poboy and enjoyed it, we also ordered the spinach dip appetizer, and it was good. Our server gave us complementary beignets once realizing it was our honeymoon and they were absolutely delicious. I would return to this location just to get beignets. The staff was incredibly kind, and the restaurant was beautiful, however, I would not recommend the chicken in French toast.

Wow!!!! Food is perfection! Nice coffee while we ate our beignets; with praline sauce! Huge Amounts of food great prices! You could share a dish for sure. Delicious and nice smooth river view.

Food was spot on. We ordered red beans & rice and the gumbo for apps. Both were very good. Dinners were Crawfish etouffee and Shrimp & scallops pasta. Both dishes were very good. We decided to order some Benginets and we had no regrets as these were better than the ones in New Orleans. Highly recommend this place. Only down side was service was a bit slow, took the wait staff about 10 minutes before we got waited on. Other than that all was great.

Had a great experience at Huey’s in Savannah! I ordered the shrimp and grits: delicious and super creamy, though the grits were just a little more soupy than I prefer. The po’ boy was really good too, full of flavor. I do wish they used smaller popcorn shrimp like you find in Louisiana, but it was still enjoyable overall. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, and the atmosphere is lively with that classic Southern hospitality. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Savannah!

The food was good. The potatoes were the best thing in life lol the beignets were light and fluffy, not oily like cafe du monde in New Orleans. The shrimp and grits were good;however, I wish the shrimp had a better sauce or char on them. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
