The hotel was good clean room and bathroom, lobby and elevators also. My wife asked not to be on the very top floor but that's where they put us, maybe because there was no other rooms? We also did the online check-in which was nice but when we got there at 3:00 the room was still not ready waited another 20 minutes and it was finally ready. All in all it was a good hotel experience for Washington DC.

I usually don't write reviews but I had to write this one to praise the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and professional: the front desk person at check out today, the cheerful lady at the rooftop bar ( I am sorry I don't know your names), and of course Mauricio at breakfast/evening duty. Many other pros: great walkable location to White House and National Mall, good options for food in 10 min radius, rooms larger than average hotel, very bright, drinks at the bar are reasonable price, breakfast has some healhy options (veggies with tofu, fruit salad), and again SUPER WELCOMING STAFF. Only neg is price of parking, but that is applicable to all centrally located DC hotels so maybe just fly instead of driving.🤷♀️

I stayed at the Hyatt White House with a large group of University students. Kudos to the staff for coordinating a complicated room situation, for accommodating a separate breakfast room, and for their excellent customer service. (Also, a solid breakfast!) My room on the 6th floor was clean and comfortable. Fabulous water pressure in the shower. The room's fan could be set to low, medium, or high, which provided great white noise - I never heard anyone in the hallway at night. Superb location. It's a quick walk to the White House, the Washington Monument, the War Memorials, and the National Museum of African American History. The metro stop at McPherson Square is a block away, that easily shoots you over to the Capitol and the east side of the Mall. Superb location. Also only a mile walk to the shops in Georgetown if you want to visit great stores.

Great location. Clean rooms, and comfortable pillows. Free breakfast if you are a Hyatt member (free sign up). Michael one of the front check in members was so kind. Super informative, had good suggestions, and made sure to say hello to my kids every time we came in and out. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House is a great option for travelers who want to stay in a prime, walkable location. Its proximity to the White House and the National Mall and Memorial Parks makes it especially convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. I stayed in a junior suite, which, while clean and comfortable, did not feature large windows or particularly nice views. That said, the room itself was well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and amenities like the mini fridge and coffee maker added to the overall convenience. As a Discoverist member, I appreciated the two complimentary bottles of water (otherwise priced at $5 each). What truly elevated the experience was the service. A special mention goes to Ms. Tee at the front desk for her professionalism and warm hospitality. She made the check-in process smooth and welcoming, leaving a great first impression. Overall, while the views may not be a highlight, the hotel delivers on cleanliness, comfort, service, and an unbeatable location.
