It was a great place to stay on my first work trip to DC. Staff were great! Especially Carla at the front desk and Jimmy G who came up and “fixed” my tv!!! Especially since there wasn’t anything wrong with it but needed to press the 2 button lol He was patient and kind with a great sense of humor!

Good location close to landmarks and some social spots. There are bike racks close by for easy access to grab one and go for a quick ride to maneuver around other than Uber. Views from rooftop were gorgeous, and bartender TY is *amazing*Loved her personality and conversation. I also liked how the hotel had breakfast included- and it was tasty! Would definitely recommend for others

Me and my family stayed here this past Juneteenth weekend to celabrate my sisters 33rd birthday and we had an amazing stay. The entire staff were super attentive. The complimentary breakfast was so good each day. The rooms were clean and we thouroughly enjoyed the pool and rooftop. Thank you for such an amazing stay we will most definetly be back.

The pool is heated! That made it awesome even when it was windy! Pool towels are provided.

I booked one room for two nights for 4th of July festivities, and I booked over 1 year in advance with an extremely high room rate of almost $700/night. Six weeks before this weekend trip, after blocking my work schedule, I was coldly notified that my reservation was canceled as they overbooked. I agreed to pay almost $1400 and booked 13 months in advance; they didn't know they were overbooked until now? Hyatt Corporate offered a pathetic, insincere apology and no compensation. The purpose of paying so much was to be close to the Mall and avoid driving or mass transit. All I can say is that I have never had this happen with any other hotel around the world. Very unprofessional.

Michael at the front desk was friendly and helpful! Excellent service from the staff, especially Michael. Great location. Clean. Safe. Parking was $65 per day which seemed too high and excessive. Great breakfast!

We chose this hotel because it had a pullout couch in addition to the 2 queen beds, its proximity to the national mall, and because it was expensive instead of really expensive. I wouldn’t stay there again. Although public areas are nice enough there are many signs that the hotel is not kept up well - one elevator that never worked resulting in long waits for an elevator, large swaths of peeling silver on bathroom mirror, peeling ceiling paint, peeling beat up shampoo/conditioner bottles, non-working room coffee machine and safe out of batteries. We were there 8 days and got maid service once, after I complained. Took 24 hours to get requested toilet paper. Employees were friendly enough. Restaurant service was VERY slow but food was decent. Although it’s close to the national mall it is in an area with almost no shopping or dining. I (middle-aged woman) did feel safe walking around during the day. We ended up using uber a lot due to location of hotel.

No good smoking area, limited menus and hours.

Great stay at this hotel with my 4-year-old! The location was perfect, walkable distance to the Smithsonian and other museums, which made sightseeing so easy with a little one! The pool was a huge hit with my daughter, and the breakfast was great too. They also let us store our luggage after checkout so we could keep sightseeing, which was super convenient. One small downside: the shower water pressure was inconsistent - low pressure for warm water, but cranking it up to high pressure made it really hot. Just something to be aware of. Overall though, we'd definitely stay here again!
