Worst Hotel Experience I have ever had. This property is advertised and priced as a five-star. Unfortunately, our experience has been completely inconsistent with those expectations. The hotel is opened up to the public for a small fee on the 4th of July. During our time at the pool area, there were multiple individuals vomiting throughout the pool deck, creating an unsanitary and distressing environment for guests. My 10-year-old child unfortunately stepped in vomit while walking through the area. In addition, we observed individuals who appeared to be homeless sleeping on couches in common areas of the hotel, as well as a significant police presence, including tactical units, near the pool. Regardless of the circumstances that led to these situations, the overall environment felt chaotic, unsafe, and entirely inappropriate for families seeking a safe place to stay. The pool area looked more like a club scene, I have never seen anything like it. These conditions substantially impacted our ability to enjoy the amenities we paid a premium to access. We chose this hotel based on its reputation as a luxury, family-friendly destination, and the experience fell far below the standards that were advertised and that any reasonable guest should expect. We would never stay here again.

My family and I recently stayed for two nights at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We booked a suite on the top floor, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the city. The views from the upper floors were a great bonus and made the stay feel even more special. One of the highlights was the breakfast. The chicken and waffles were delicious, and the French toast was some of the best hotel breakfast food we’ve had. It was the perfect way to start each day. The rooftop pool was another standout feature. It’s a great place to unwind while enjoying views of Baltimore’s skyline and Inner Harbor. Whether you’re traveling with family or just looking to relax, it’s definitely worth checking out. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is within walking distance of Camden Yards, making it incredibly convenient for catching an Orioles game. It’s also right next to the Hard Rock Cafe and close to many other attractions, restaurants, and waterfront activities. I also included photos of their event space on the 15th floor. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Baltimore offers spacious accommodations, excellent amenities, great food, and an unbeatable location. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Baltimore.

This is my second stay at this Hyatt location, and unfortunately it was even worse than the first. My room key didn’t work when I arrived, so I had to return to the front desk and was assigned a different room. The replacement room was not clean, with stains on the bed sheets, and the bathroom smelled strongly of mold. To make matters worse, I just discovered that the shower gel bottles are completely empty. I called the front desk to report these issues, but no one answered. This level of service and cleanliness is unacceptable. I will not be staying at this location again.

I stayed at the Hyatt in Baltimore for a business trip while attending an event at the nearby Baltimore Convention Center, and the location was extremely convenient. Being able to walk back and forth easily made the entire trip much smoother. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was genuinely good and well prepared, which is something I really value during a busy work schedule. It was nice not having to go far for a satisfying meal after long days at the convention. The room and overall lodging environment were excellent — clean, quiet, and comfortable. It provided a great space to rest and recharge between meetings and events, which is exactly what you want on a business trip. The gym was also very impressive, with modern and well-maintained equipment. It was easy to keep up with my workout routine even while traveling, which I appreciated. The outdoor pool was closed during the winter, but it looks like it would be beautiful in the summer and a nice bonus for warmer seasons. Overall, this was a very positive experience. With its convenient location near the convention center, comfortable rooms, good dining options, and solid amenities, it’s an excellent choice for business travelers. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Baltimore.

We just got back from a 3 night trip to this hotel. It was AWESOME. The rooms were nice, beds comfy with down comforters. So close to everything. The staff were all so nice and we were able to drink the Starbucks espresso black, every barista knew how to make it well. We won’t stay anywhere else! Do not listen to bad reviews! It’s an older hotel but it well maintained and perfect for a stay in Baltimore, especially with kids!
