First of all, we're from STL, first impressions are vitally critical. The restroom was clean and classy. The beet salad was sooooooo doggone good, better than good. Lawd have mercy the waiter suggested that we do the carrot cake since we had the cinnamon roll. Honey, the coffee cake and carrot cake we sooooooo super scrumptious and delightfully deeeeelish!! We enjoyed everything and we unanimously voted to come back the next few days until we leave! I forgot to mention that this was first on our list to go to since arriving last Saturday evening, but we couldn't get here until Thursday. Definitely worth the wait 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😁😁

We had been looking forward to trying Juneberry for a while. Overall it was good. Positives: coffee cake was amazing! The diner burger and the potatoes with cheese and bacon were crispy and delicious. The host and our server were friendly! Some not so positive things: 1) our coffee cake took almost 20 minutes and our meals took 45-50 minutes to come out. We never expect our food to be quick but for this place only having like 8 tables we were shocked that our food and everyone else’s food took 40 minutes+. Not sure if that’s normal. It’s also odd that they limit the table times to 1 hr and 15 minutes if the food alone takes almost an hour to come out. 2) the burrito was good but nothing I haven’t had at other places. They were also sold out of the cinnamon roll and the biscuits which was our fault for coming so late on a Sunday! Maybe we will be back someday to try those. I just think our expectations were very high and we were a bit let down.

This place has a great brunch menu with several delicious entrees. I got the Breakfast Sandwich and coffee cake, both of which were excellent. The coffee cake is just the right amount of sweet, which can be difficult to achieve. The wait might be a while (up to two hours) but there are nice shops in the area to occupy the downtime. Street parking is available and free on Sundays.

Quaint spot on Lorain Ave. This place serves great food with a limited menu, which only means there is an attention to detail that you don’t get many other places. Get here early for breakfast on the weekends! I ordered the Buckwheat Pancakes with an order of eggs and bacon (extra crispy). The bacon was phenomenal, however since this is a truly made to order spot, they made the bacon as I ordered. (Typically if I say extra crispy, it’s never made as literal as this). It was excellent, however

A cute little restaurant with yummy food! The pancakes were a hit with fresh blueberries! My husband really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. We also split a biscuit which was delicious. If we’re back in town we would come back and try other great menu options!
