I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Kappo! My friend and I wanted a high end but affordable way to spend the evening and it did NOT disappoint. The chefs were amazing and so personable. The food was to die for and the manager, Zach (I think was his name) was very attentive. We both decided we will definitely be back!

I’ve been to Kappo three times, and it’s been incredible every time. The seasonal omakase makes every visit feel fresh and unique, and it’s easily some of the best food I’ve had in DC. The service is spectacular, the music is always perfect, and the atmosphere ties everything together. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience, and I can’t wait to go back.

My bf and I loved this spot, it was so cute and intimate. I will say it's much lighter than we were expecting about half of the dishes had wagyu and the other half were lighter bites. I thought it was a great balance and was satisfied. The chef Jason was really the standout for us, he handles all the dessert in house and it was incredible. We'll come back just to see Jason.

We had such a great experience here for my friend’s birthday. The chef’s are talented and personable. We felt taken care of by our wait staff.
